Enjoy the silence on the terrace in front of the fire pit, with beautiful views of the river and mountains. Find the tranquility of hiking in nature that is in the immediate vicinity. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river just below the cabin. The cabin is only a short trip away from Vøringsfossen, a very famous attraction in Eidfjord. 20 minutes by car takes you to the city center in Eidfjord, where you can experience fjords and mountains. There is great hiking terrain around the cabin, and it is only a short drive to hiking opportunities at Hardangervidda.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Large sunny plot New kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. Hiking trails and groomed ski slopes and ski trails just outside the door. Ski in/out. Fishing opportunities. Amazing view to Hardangervidda National Park. Outdoor furniture can be used freely In winter it is nice to go skiing, sledding and playing on the large sunny plot. There is plenty of space for parking in the free parking space and about 80 meters to the cabin on the path in the summer and about 200 meters in the winter.

Short drive to the alpine at the Maurset There is 3 km to the charging station and colonial. In the summer there is also an open colonial shop within walking distance of the cabin. Short driving distance to Vøringsfossen. It is 20 min to Eidfjord. There are 2 cots for 0-2 years. 1 junior bed. 1 high chair, 2 junior chairs Toys and puzzles for kids.

Lovely mountain apartment at Maurset

Welcome to our great cabin apartment! Here you have all you need with lovely hiking trails just outside the door all year round, as well as walking distance to ski slopes. The cabin is peaceful and spacious and offers all modern facilities such as fiber broadband, driving all the way and 200 meters to convenience store with charging stations (Eviny/Tesla). Shop is open 7-23 every day. The apartment is the most sheltered in the field, with unobstructed views. The apartment must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Stor og luksuriøs hytte til utleie, ved Garen, Hardangervidda. Hytten har 5 soverom, tv-stue og hems. Hvert soverom har dobbelseng, hemsen har en dobbelseng og TV-stuen har en sovesofa. Det er to bad, samt vaskerom med toalett. Det ene badet er utstyrt med badstu. Hardangervidda er en fantastisk destinasjon, med storslått natur. Flotte forhold for skiturer om vinteren, og fine turløyper i området om sommeren. Denne flotte hytten er perfekt for turer med storfamilien, firma og vennegjengen.

Fantastic mountain cabin at famous Vøringsfoss!

Velkommen til vår flotte hytte! Hytten ble bygget sommeren 2022 og ligger i et fantastisk fjellområde et lite stykke ovenfor Vøringsfoss, ved foten av Hardangervidda. Hytten disponerer to parkeringsplasser på privat parkeringsplass tilhørende Åstestølen hyttefelt. Det er kommunal vei helt til parkeringsplassen og en kort gåtur til hytten, på grussti. Det er et meget rolig og etablert hytteområde med hyggelige naboer. Kort vei til nærbutikk på Maurset, alpinanlegg og merkede stier.

Right by Vøringsfossen! Here you can enjoy amazing nature right outside the door. A place for those who appreciate the “simple life”, in a calm setting with beautiful views. There's a steep path up to the cabin that takes about 10 minutes. Please bring linens and towels. Bring your own firewood and you wash the cabin yourself. Nyoppført september 2023. Stor luksushytte til utleige ved Garen, Hardangervidda. Hytta har 5 soverom og TV stova. Kvart soverom har dobbelseng, TV-stova har sovesofa til 2 personar. Det er 1 hovudbad i 2 etasjen, samt eit toalett i 1 etasje. Hardangervidda er ein fantastisk destinasjon, med spektakulær og nydeleg natur. Flotte forhold for skiturer, og fine turløyper i området. Denne flotte hytta passar godt for turar med storfamilien, firma og vennegjengen.

Family cottage from 2018 suitable for 1-2 families. Easy access to the cabin and plenty of space for parking in the courtyard. The cabin is cosy and well equipped. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter, both short trips and hikes. Short distance to the lookout point Vøringsfossen and possible day trips to Hardangervidda Nature Center in Øvre Eidfjord, Mikkelparken in Kinsarvik, Dronningstien and Trolltunga.
