Apartment holiday rentals in Edge Hill

I used it for 4 nights on my trip to Cairns. There is a large shopping center in front of you, and it was very helpful because it was within walking distance to the night market. The interior is very clean and almost as pictured. Also, when there was a problem with the key, they responded kindly and politely by phone. I was a little worried about the reviews about the air conditioning, but when I visited in June, there was no particular problem. It looks like you can use the sofa bed for an additional fee. For your information. It was a pleasant trip. Thank you.

The place was great, exactly what you need if you want to get away from the cairns for a few days. Right next to the beach with a few restaurants and only a 5 mins walk to the bus stop. Stephanie sent a very clear instructions on how to check in and made me feel like she was always available if needed.

Very central location and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the security of having a car park undercover & locked up. We also enjoyed the large balcony. Any problems were solved very quickly & Shirley was a delight to deal with. On arrival in a new town & with a hire car the instructions for finding the key wasn’t very clear. After driving around the block because we missed it, we stumbled upon it at the car park entrance. All other instructions were spot on & clear. Great place to stay.

Lovely place, everything you need for a short or extended stay. Peaceful, private and well located. Joanne was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect for all activities and restaurants. We didn’t have a car, and didn’t need one! Just a short Uber ride from the airport.

Location was great for us - within walking distance of the event that we were in Cairns for, and very convenient to the airport and public transport. Also we found this place clean, spacious and well equipped. Hope we can return. Thanks.

This location and unit would be hard to beat! From the moment we walked through the front door we were captivated by the view… it included a bit of everything- from the marina, the horizon, greenery and the ferris wheel.. not forgetting the fireworks display on Friday night which was a lovely surprise..

House is well maintained and has more than what you expect. House is located in a good location to travel on either side to kurunda or Cairns wharf to do any activites and go to any restaurant. Cairns central is 5 mins drive on the same road. We as a family loved the stay as it felt like home. Also Kathy was very responsive and proactively checking if we need any help. We had good time at Cairns.

My son and I had a great stay. The location was excellent and the accomodation very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again if I was to return to Cairns.

It is a lovely spacious apartment on the second floor, everything clean and well equipped with utensils. Large covered balcony. Lovely large beds with good mattresses, nice shower. Everything sparkling clean and freshly painted. No noise nuisance in building. Walking distance from the beach and city. The town has a beautiful big free public swimming pool. Restaurant Noa in Edge Hill is recommendable. Two small downsides: there is no elevator and the apartment is in the extension of the airport, causing some noise nuisance, especially in the morning (no night flights). Leanne and Steve are very accommodating and friendly hosts. We would definitely come back back.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment, enjoying the pool, and the very clean and tidy apartment. We were provided with a portable cot for the baby with us, and offered bedding for the cot. Garaged parking was great. Driving between the apartment and the CBD was simple, though beware GPS might send you to the back of the complex where there is no access, rather than to the entrance to the complex. We would happily stay again.

We had an excellent stay at Myranda’s unit. It was spotless inside, and well located close to the beach. A lovely deck. The unit was well equipped and Myranda’s communication was excellent. We would highly recommend this listing.

Lovely little place located at the heart of Cairns. Simple, clean and really comfortable a great place to rest after a busy day of exploring. Great shower and super comfortable bed. Dog friendly which is great for us who loves travelling with our dog. She felt really comfortable and we were very close (driving distance) to great dog beaches.

Stayed for 3 days. Walking into the city (40+min) or shops is far, however bus service is very cheap and close by. Pools are amazing

We stayed for 7 days and overall really enjoyed the apartment. It’s quiet, cozy, and feels nicely secluded - perfect if you’re looking to relax. We really appreciated the beach towels and umbrella, which came in handy. The ocean view is lovely and peaceful. A heads-up: having a car is definitely helpful if you plan to go into Cairns or explore nearby areas. The internet connection was a bit of a challenge - the access point overheated and shut off, so we had to use a fan to keep it running. Also, having air conditioning in the bedroom would have made sleeping more comfortable, especially if you’re not a fan (pun intended) of fans running overnight. Other than that, everything was nice and the place had a lovely vibe ☺️

The ground floor unit was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Perfect location if you want to be walking distance to Trinity beach, a 5 minute drive to Smithfield and 20 minutes to Cairns.

Beautiful location and easy checkin. This place is also even bigger than you would expect. Beautiful view and easy access to beach. Of note there are 4 flights of start from parking to unit, not a problem for me but may be for some

Kay was very helpful - she picked us up from the airport and took time to show us around the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, handy for everything you need. There is a tour desk downstairs where you can book your activities. Overall, highly recommended.

Great owners. Very accommodating. The fridge was stocked with items such as milk and bread. A lovely place!

What a great stay, I particularly wanted to comment on the little touches that you don’t get very often but make a stay feel like home, there was a loaf of bread and some spreads for breakfast the first day supplied, there was plenty of sauce, salt, pepper, there was all the food wraps as well as sandwich bags, it’s those little touches that make all the difference, even the fact that the cutting knife’s were sharp and there was 2 frypans, 2 chopping boards, everything was excellent and Liz even provided shopping bags, what a legend…

Second time staying at Reef Retreat. Lovely well maintained resort with great value for money. Pool and spa very clean - leaves well kept under control. Nice book library in laundry and friendly service.

Beautiful apartment and surroundings. Within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Owners and admin were very responsive to questions. Beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. Appreciated the extra towels. Internet was a bit hit and miss and no shampoo in the bathrooms (lots of conditioner though) which may have just been an oversight. We would definitely stay again. We had a wonderful family holiday at Dianne’s place. The apartment was perfect for our family with two young toddlers, beautiful setting, clean, comfortable and all the extras for kids, toys, pool toys and a great outdoor spa bath. We had a lot of fun at the resort beach pool and the location in Palm Cove is perfect, by the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.
