Country Barn Conversion - Grounds of Old Corn Mill

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of the County, we are near to many great walks, National Trust & English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

Rustic Green Shepherds Hut under the Wenlock Edge

Get away from it all in our authentic Shepherds Hut, situated under the Wenlock Edge, in the picturesque Shropshire Hills. A simple, yet charming shepherds hut complete with; two single beds, a table, chairs, an indoor log burner, indoor and outdoor lighting, two plug sockets to charge a phone and a kettle. A fresh water tap is close by, and there are basic shower and toilet facilities on site. The two single beds can be moved together to create a double, although, bedding is not provided.

Annexed to the main house, the "Studio" has it's own front door, private access & parking. With all mod-cons including a dishwasher, free WiFi and Sky TV, the Studio is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Located 3 miles east of Church Stretton and a 35 minute walk to the popular Royal Oak pub in Cardington, a favourite haunt of the locals.

This is a private en suite room, located in the peaceful village of Cardington, 5 miles from the market town of Church Stretton. The room has it's own private entrance and is separate to the owners house. A continental breakfast of cereal and pastries will be served to your room each morning at a time to suit you between 08.00 - 10.00. In the picturesque hamlet of Minton, it has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 (+2 extra pull out beds if needed), and is equipped with a log woodburner for cosy evenings. Offering direct access onto the Long Mynd, with its incredible scenery, walks, bike rides and pubs, this really is the perfect place for couples, families and groups alike.

Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Our beautiful cottage is a self contained converted cow barn/dairy. Consisting of an open plan kitchen diner and living space all renovated to a high standard. Eastwall, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is at the foot of Wenlock Edge, perfect for anyone who appreciates stunning scenery and the beautiful Shropshire Countryside. The cottage is cosy and private but if you require any extra services we are across the yard and can tailor your stay to your needs.

Dairy Living

The Dairy is located on our small, 200 acre farm which is hidden away, deep within the south Shropshire hills. We have brought a new life to the Dairy - which originally was the old wash house - in creating a new living space, whilst keeping to the original feel of its former use. The Dairy stands privately within its own area, close to the 17th century farm house, over looking the hollow way tracks that runs by the farm.
