My family and I had a fantastic experience with Sand Castle Villa . The booking process was smooth, the host was communicative and friendly, and the property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I appreciated the personal touches and local recommendations. Definitely a more unique and homey experience than a typical Airbnb stay. Highly recommend! ☺️👌🏼

Spacious and clean home for our family of 6 adults! The outdoor area, pool deck, and dining room were perfect for the many visitors we received and entertained over our weeklong stay. We did a lot of cooking and appreciated the kitchen fully stocked with ample pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishware and cutlery. The strong A/C and swimming pool were refreshing amenities to come home to each day. While the water pressure isn’t as strong as our U.S. standards, having 3 full bathrooms was great. The live in family of caretakers use the bedroom next to the kitchen and stayed out of our way for the most part, but be aware they do walk around the outside premises throughout the day. They conveniently provided tricycle service when we needed it and replenished the drinking water often. The only negative (which is out of the owner’s control) is the music from the karaoke bars nearby which you can hear until after 1am every night! Otherwise a truly enjoyable stay and we will stay again!

Excellent host, great service, perfect place for family gathering with well maintained landscape, open area concept, air conditioned rooms, modern kitchen, clean and spacious bathrooms, close to town center and can accommodate lots of guests. Will definitely be coming back.

This was our first stay here and we are happy to say that everything was exactly as it was described. The grounds are beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. You can easily walk down to the beach, play some bad mitton/vollyball or grill outside. The staff onsite was super responsive and very helpful. (had charcoal for the grill handy and san miguel for us when we ran out :) It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or small family gathering. The View the view the view :) so awesome!

House only for you! Everything works well, easy to find it after arrival. Private entrance, well equipped kitchen, so you can easily cook. The owner provides drinking water (highly appreciate)! You can easily cook your own meals, no worries about food availability on the island. Ask local, where to buy fresh fish, squid, chicken on the farm. Vegetable was always available, no problem with cooking at all. Even there is no carenderia on the island. There is second accommodation on the island (RL), but they cook only simple *log food(cornsilog,longsilog etc). So if you want eat healthier eat, cook easily by yourself. RL is good for short stay only. Internet works well, on acceptable level. Globe has very limited coverage, you need go uphill. Carnaza is super charming island, stay at least one week and visit all beaches around the island! So worthy, beautiful beaches here! No tourists! Locals are friendly, it’s real authentic Philippino experience! Whole island is easily walkable ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only small issues were the occasional power outages and the lack of blinds on the big windows, which made it a bit hard to sleep in or nap during the day.

Had a fun and relaxing staycation! The host was very kind and welcoming, and the place was so quiet and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend this place!

Nice place to stay. With complete things like you're just at home. There are nearby convenience store, ATM, supermarket, restaurants, food street..etc. Lapulapu shrine is also a walk away like a nice way to have a walk exercise. Also favorable for jogging around the open area near mactan newtown beach entrance. Just like the other reviews, the only issue here is the smell of the bathroom that suddenly comes out. What we did is just cover the drains and close the toilet bowl cover. Overall it still was a great stay. Thanks Myrlin for being responsive to all my questions.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in La Mactan, Cebu. The place was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and had a stunning view. The pool was a highlight, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to shops and restaurants. They also offered custom tour packages at much better rates than other providers, which made our island hopping experience even more enjoyable. We also rented a scooter through them, which was both affordable and reliable. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. While the bed was a bit firm and slightly short for tall Europeans, it didn’t impact our overall experience. It truly felt like a vacation, and we’d happily stay here again!

We absolutely loved the place! My niece and nephews loved the pool and we absolutely loved everything else too! There are a lot of restaurants in the area to choose from so it’s a great place all around. The host was super sweet and extremely helpful with my 1 million questions LOL. For me it was a 10/10! Will definitely come back again soon!!!

We had a wonderful extended stay here. The **view is spectacular**, the **location is excellent**—just a 10–15 min walk to the beach (paid access, but options to get in for free or 350 pesos). **No bugs**, **fridge is nearly full-size**, **washing machine works well** (even has hot water), and the **front desk answers promptly**. **GrabFood delivers to the lobby**—we had amazing sourdough and pizza! The host was **very responsive** when issues came up (stove, aircon smell, shower). We made a few comfort tweaks like moving the bed and bringing an air fryer we loved. Small things like the **kettle being too hot to handle** and lack of gym access were a letdown, but we found a great gym 2 minutes away. Overall, a great base with a little creativity and a lot of potential. Highly recommended!

Second time staying at Gina’s place. My favorite place to stay near Sogod bay because of the beautiful views. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, with access to the water and no street noise. The place was very clean and the caretakers are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

Very nice beach, staff incredibly kind and welcoming, food is really good. The room is big and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Beautiful place! Would be interested to come again. The place is peaceful and pretty. They also are in an area where the phone data is really fast (because it differs a lot in different parts of the island) so even if the wifi is limited we can still use data.

The place was lovely, the view was relaxing seeing the pool area and glass house from the living room. Although we encountered a little hiccup regarding the malfunctioning microwave, which our host let me know on the day of the check in. I would have appreciated it if I was told beforehand because we brought microwave popcorn. Although, the caretaker Ms. Neria was clear with her instructions and tour of the Airbnb. She even offered to let us borrow her rice cooker as the previous guests misused the old rice cooker and left it discolored. The glass house was cozy, and offered a really nice view of the sea and sunrise. My family members however complained regarding the water pressure in their bathrooms. Hope this can be fixed as well. Other than that, we loved the karaoke and the pool! We are also able to use the grill for barbecue and the ref and freezer were functional, which was fortunate since my family brought a lot of food. Gwen's place was really serene. It's peaceful---I can only hear the birds chirping and the waves hitting the cliff. The morning sunrise was also superb on her place. I'd definitely go back for a longer stay next time. Oh Gwen and her staff were also the most accomodating hosts so far. Arranged a tour for me, made sure I was doing fine in my stay. 😊

This house with the gazebo and the entire grounds with private beach area is a very nice place to relax and feel good. The view of the sea is incomparably beautiful. The house manager was always there for us if we needed anything. It is about a 25 minute drive from Bogo, so it is recommended to have a scooter or a car. I would rent this house again anytime. We were there for over a month and felt very comfortable at all times.
