My place is located in the rising city of Borongan in Eastern Samar. It is close to great views and the city center. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Our Apartment opened last July 2018 but it still looks good and new. We are near Barangay Taboc Elementary School and the Provincial Capital. We are also 10-15 minutes away from the nearest surfing beach- BayBay Boulevard.

Our place is located in Lalawigan, Borongan City. 10min drive from Borongan City proper. A seawall is under construction on the beachfront so you cannot access the beach at the moment. Our bar and restaurant is temporarily closed so if you will book this room, you will have access to everything inside our place. We have free wifi and smart tv with Netflix. Guests can also cook inside the room. Amazing beachfront view most specifically during sunrise.

We grateful to be the first booking for airbnb. The listed amenities was all included and we were thankful there were other free things like crystal kayak as well. For the price, I’d say it was worth the stay in Makati Island. Caretakers and staff were also kind, responsive, and approachable. We already recommended the place to other locals and tourists. Definitely one of the highlights of our Samar Trip. Wish to be back soon <3

We visited Borongan City for the Philippine National Surfing Championship, and we’re so happy with our decision to stay at Rupert’s Airbnb. I loved being sheltered under a big tree, with walls covered in plants. Their friendly dogs made us feel right at home. The staff and customer service were incredibly helpful. I appreciated the privacy and calm atmosphere—it’s less crowded compared to staying in a hotel, and the large property makes the place feel open and relaxing. The property is well-maintained. Grateful to you guys—thanks, and see you next time!

The host Aida was helpful, friendly, and responsive during the stay. The unit is nicely appointed and is a short walk from the main roadway and nearby trike transportation. For those with mobility issues, note that the staircase leading to the third floor unit is a bit tight and narrow. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable. Would book again. Thank you.

Villa B Partial Ocean View

Very nice place. Likely the best in the area. The villas are HUGE, and comfortable. Villas A and B have a partially obstructed view of the ocean (the roof of the restaurant protrudes into it). C and D are better. They were gracious enough to relocate us from B to C. The pool and cliff view from the pool and restaurant is very nice. No beach at the property, but a little down the road (maybe 300-500 meters?) is a big open beach. The pool is salt water. I bet they pull it from the ocean, but am not sure. Restaurant service is good, friendly, and a good selection of drinks at the bar ;) All the food we had was good. We enjoyed our stay there There were some repairs needed and they seem to be addressing them, but overall good condition. I think only the upstairs shower has a water heater. There is a drinking water cooler and heater in the kitchen. No stove top or dishes in the kitchen, some glasses. Good stay 😉
