Holiday rentals with breakfast in Eastern Province

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

The apartment was everything we expected. Very clean and only 300m to the beach .Felt very safe at all times. Theepan was always available to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks for everything

Our stay here was truly special. The place is cute and cosy - like right out of an Enid Blyton book. Their adorable pets - cats Lucy and Sally and dogs Toby and Sandy can become the perfect furry companions sometimes :) We fell in love with the food as well. Starting from the wholesome lunch with rich portion sizes of rice and 4 different curries to the breakfast of hoppers, caramelized onions, pancakes and homemade orange marmalade- aunty’s home cooked meals made us come back for more! They could also arrange a scooter for us for 3000 LKR per day that helped us explore Nuwara Eliya as per our wish :) Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone visiting the charming little hill town.

What an amazing place, in a beautiful area of the island. From the moment we drew up to the gates of the Dutch House, we were greeted by the most gorgeous Dutch villa, and the all-pervasive smile of Kannan, who looked after us like members of the family during our stay. The house sits high on the hills outside of Bandarawela, up a short, but very steep road, which gives it a great vantage point over the surrounding lush hills and mountains. It’s a great climate so a gin and tonic on the veranda was a joy. We made use of the pool, and although not heated, you soon get used to it. The surrounding gardens are very well kept and have a plethora of birds and other wildlife. The food prepared by the on site chef was wonderful, as was the attentive service from Kannan. We also had the best sleep we've had during our trip. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, a drive here and a stay in this wonderful house, will surely be one of the highlights of any trip. It was for ours.

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

The property was absolutely worth the price—clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all amenities. Amal (if I’ve spelled it right) assisted us really well throughout our stay. Just two small suggestions: the door in the bedroom behind the TV needs a bit of repair, and it would be great to add a sunlight-blocking curtain for that room’s balcony, as the morning sun was quite strong. Other than that, everything was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Поездка была семейная. Посмотрели фото, очень красивые пейзажи. Ожидания оправдались. Дом находится на высоте, очень красивый обзор, утром туман окутывает горы, просто супер! Хозяин всегда на связи и может решит все вопросы. В доме нас встретил управляющий, расположил, вызвал транспорт для поездки в город. В доме есть камин, вечером посидеть у камина приятное времяпровождение. Комнаты чистые, есть все необходимое, горячая вода. Утром нас накормили завтраком. В доме прекрасная оранжерея. Обеденный стол находится с прекрасным видом! Нам все понравилось. Мы рекомендуем, если будете в Нувара-Элии сделать остановку в этом доме.

Хорошее и чистое жильё, с прекрасным видом с балкончика, где можно сидеть вечерами! Все сделано стильно и со вкусом! Еду тоже заказывали у них, все было вкусно! Находится далековато от центра, в горах, зато какой вид! Дедушка Nimantha встретил нас со станции и также потом отвёз на 9 арочный мост. Спасибо за гостеприимство!

La maison de Sajini est calme dans un endroit résidentiel. On accède à cette location par un escalier extérieur indépendant, donnant sur un hall avec un évier, une bouilloire et une table. Le premier étage de la maison entièrement pour nous est bien équipé avec deux belles chambres donnant sur un balcon avec vue sur un petit jardin et avec des salles de bains modernes. La climatisation et le wifi fonctionnent bien. L'accueil est chaleureux et Sajini nous a préparé un souper. Le petit déjeuner compris était très bien. Nous reviendrions volontiers.

Oh I just loved this special place. I slept great and woke up to such a beautiful morning on my balcony. I had a tea while watching nature and taking it all in. The garden is very special and I was able to find such a moment of peace there.

Poorna's villa was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and with all basic amenties. Host was extremely friendly, and extended help in whatever we requested for , instance arranged laundry services etc. Breakfast spread was decent with coconut roti, breads, egg, juices, fruits, coffee/ tea. Poorna's wife also showed us how they make Srilankan rotis. Overall fantastic stay and highly recommend family with kids.

Subadra was a perfect host,we booked a homestay and got a home instead. The place was ozzing with love and kindness. She went beyond her way to address our concerns and gave a personal touch to everything she offered. The property is spacious , green and airy. Two big beaches (Kalkudah and Passikudah ) are just 200 metres away in opposite directions to each other. The host ,Mr,Arul, and his wife ,Usha, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was complimentary . It was vast, very delcious and had variety. We also opted for dinner at the Arul's property as it was so good. Seafood curries ( Fish and prawn curries) were made in heaven and the variety of vegetables offered was great! Here all the guests are offered welcome drink on arrival. Water dispenser is provided for all the guests so there is no need to buy plastic water bottles. Laundry services provided . A/C in every cottage but we rarely used it as cool sea breeze keeps the room walls cool. We had a great time.

Thank you for such a beautiful stay in Ella. From the moment you picked us up everything was perfect. We loved staying at the Solitary retreat and wish we could have stayed longer. Dileepa was so attentive, sharing local recommendations and providing the most delicious breakfast. We would love to come back one day.

Definitiv die BESTE Unterkunft während unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte alles zu bieten, was wir benötigt haben. Der Strand und die Hauptstraße mit Geschäften und Restaurants waren in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Raffaella ist ein absolutes Unikat. Ihr Humor wird uns im Gedächtnis bleiben. Außerdem hat sie uns ein Dschungel BBQ mit Sudu vermittelt.. eine unglaubliche Erfahrung, die wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Danke Raffaella und Danke Sudu für diese unvergessliche Zeit :)

Our best find in Sri Lanka. Hosts, Michael & Ruwanthi are so friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a truly wonderful time. Glyn Myu is beautiful, luxurious & very comfortable. The location is quite simply breathtaking. Ruwanthi is an incredibly talented cook serving exquisite meals with most ingredients gathered from her extensive garden. Her knowledge of the dietary & medicinal properties of her homegrown larder is very impressive. She is also delighted to share her passion & knowledge. A Sri Lankan gem where we felt welcome, relaxed & immediately at home. They have a very informative website with contact details!

Eine Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel, die Lage ist perfekt – abgeschieden und ruhig, aber trotzdem in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Der Host vermittelt aber auch Tuk Tuk fahrten bzw Scooter. Kaum Moskitos, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Das Frühstück war köstlich, aber das absolute Highlight war das Abendessen! Wir haben uns jeden Tag darauf gefreut – mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und einfach ein Genuss. Zudem war es immer eine Freude, mit dem Gastgeber zu plaudern und spannende Einblicke zu bekommen.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Es kamen beim Frühstück Affen vorbei, beim Abendessen Rehe. Es war sehr schön und wir wurden sehr gut versorgt. Das Essen, von Mutter gekocht, war sensationel. gerne komme wir wieder. Gruß Frank

Perfect location out of the hustle and bustle of ella but perfect distance away from Nine arches, Little adam’s peak and Ravana pool club. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts and hosts family were absolutely lovely. He even picked us up from the town and took us to the room in his Tuktuk. The bathroom could use a little work but overall lovely stay!
