Family-friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Finland

Harri's chalet is very well equipped. We didn't miss a thing. As stated in the listing, towels, kitchen towels and sheets are not provided. We had therefore planned this in our suitcases. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. A perfect view of the lake! We even had the chance to see a moose, a magical moment! A car is essential to access the stores. For example, Savonlinna is about 50 km away. The only negative point was the cleanliness on arrival, requiring cleaning before we settled in. Harri was very understanding on this subject. We still recommend it because we had a very good stay.

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

This place was just what we needed - a perfect respite in the middle of nature. The cottage was like straight out of a fairy tale: beautifully decorated, full of thoughtful details and a wonderful atmosphere. Soft saunas, silence and sweet dreams made me feel peaceful. The forest pond and evening bath in the tub crowned the day - steaming water under the stars, surrounded only by the sounds of the forest. It felt like time had stopped. And the hosts' own pancakes - a warm gesture that made me feel truly welcome. A heartfelt place where you want to return again.

A wonderful, peaceful place to spend Midsummer. Beaches for both swimming and fishing right next door, a wonderful wooden sauna, your own peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. The place was even better and more homely than the pictures showed. Good bedding to sleep in. Friendly and pleasant host with whom communication is straightforward. Thank you for the pleasant time you offered!

We had a bachelor party at this accommodation, and the place was just right for that purpose! The warm atmosphere and decor of the accommodation created a good vibe. Karaoke equipment and the possibility of a pool were a big plus. Pia was very kind and helpful, which made the whole arrangement uncomplicated. We highly recommend this place especially for those traveling in a group – a wonderful experience!✨

We stayed here for 2 nights during a trip with the camper. A very nice prices late with private sauna, beach, boat, kota,,... Place too much for 2 people actually. It was so relaxing here that we stayed here for 2 days to relax. The possibility to do a laundry was also nice. The contact with Tiina couldn't be better, friendly and direct. great place!

Nice place in a beautiful location, suitable for the entire family.

A very suitable cottage for a few people in a beautiful quiet location by the lake, yet close to the services of Kouvola. There wasn't an oven in the kitchen, but thankfully this was what we did in advance from Google ratings so we knew how to change the menu accordingly. The firewood was quite big and the grill required the purchase of charcoal, but otherwise everything was found and worked. Very nice and helpful owners who helped quickly if needed :)

Great house for families with wonderful pool and sauna. Safe and beautiful environment with playground and beach nearby. Shops also accessible. Great vibe sitting outside on the patio in the evenings. Could easily stay another week here!

Joensuu's apartment provided everything you could imagine needing during a few days' visit. And instead of customer service, Minna offered caring and care!

Visa & Noora were very gracious hosts. They responded to messages very quickly and comprehensively. Their instructions were also extensive and varied. The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!

The accommodation is cozy,very well equipped, tidy. Very perfect for us.

Our stay at the villa was just amazing. We usually never go to the same place twice but we both are considering to come back again.

The room was better than I expected, quite large, we had our own entrance and could park the car in front of it. Toilet was clean but a bit dated. The room had a bunk bed which wasn’t shown in the picture or listed in text. It was fine for us but could be a problem for people with limited mobility. Breakfast was quite basic but nice. I would appreciate if fresh fruit were added though. The place was almost empty which is probably bad for business but was awesome for us. We had a whole empty spa for ourselves :) Checking in and out was seamless and pleasant. We got to keep our room for couple of hours over check out time without any fee.

The accommodation was really child-friendly and suitable for families. Large kitchen and dining area can accommodate even👍🏻 larger families!
