This was our favorite Airbnb! Luxurious , resort like place! The home was absolutely stunning with everything you might need and lots of thoughtful extras! We went for a long weekend getaway and loved it! Excellent and attentive host as well! Thank you for an amazing experience!

We were in town for our daughter’s performance at ISU. The location was close to the university and the home was clean and comfortable. We are already booked for another trip this fall!

This Daisy Lane property was a dream location for a “destination staycation” — The property immediately felt like “home” and was extremely clean & well stocked with great amenities throughout!! 😍🤩 The pool glistened & hot tub was wonderfully steamy & super relaxing!! **We stayed the first week in June & paid to have the pool heated. We would recommend heating the pool to anyone staying in the Midwest before July/August (when regular seasonal temps would naturally heat the water to a more comfortable temperature).** The game table was also a very fun & unique feature — it provided great indoor entertainment when the weather outside wasn’t cooperating. 😁 Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions & were very friendly & eager to make sure we had an enjoyable stay!! 🥰 We will definitely recommend this Beyond The Path listing to friends & family & will be keeping it on our short list of places to return to in the future!! Our family had a wonderful time together here. There was something for everyone, always something to do or a peaceful place to relax. Grandparents were happy, kids were happy, overall a great family weekend!

~Peaceful Farmhouse Retreat~ We loved our stay at the Little Farmhouse! Nestled in the middle of a multi-generational farmstead, this charming home was the perfect location for us being close to friends nearby. Sitting on the patio after dark was a treat listening to wild turkeys and frogs in the distance. The farmhouse itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly cozy – a perfect blend of modern farmhouse charm and comfort. In addition, we were close to everything! We enjoyed some fantastic local restaurants and shopping at Grand Prairie. This location was the best of both worlds: peaceful seclusion and convenience. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel at home! We will definitely book this place again!

We enjoyed our week stay in Lacon, IL. It is a quaint small town on the IL River. The house has 2 stories with 3 generous sized bedrooms (no TV’s) on the 2nd floor and 1 bath (bath tub/shower combo). There is plenty of closet space with shelves and hanging area (no dressers). The beds, pillows and linens are super comfy!!! There is a first floor bath with a smaller walk-in shower, as well as a wash and dryer in a large separate room which could serve as a bedroom if there was an airbed or sofa bed. The kitchen had all the amenities like a Keurig duo coffee maker, microwave deluxe gas stove, french door refrigerator, toaster, dishwasher, dishes and pots and pan. There was also an outdoor gas grill which we did not use. The back of the house features a large wood deck that is older and has a rectangular table with 6 chairs. The basement was locked and not accessible. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if needed. The leather furniture was clean with surface scratches. Large TV with wifi.

This place has everything I was looking for. Tyler and his family met us at check in and were very friendly. My parents drove in from Arizona with their trailer and Tyler was nice enough to let them park it on the property for the duration of the stay. Even with the trailer, there was still a ton of land for their two large dogs and our little dog to run around and enjoy themselves. The hot tub and fire pit area were great and they even left a huge bundle of wood for us to use.The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. The house has a lot of history that you can read about in one section of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. The dishwasher made clean up easy. The dining room had a large table where we enjoyed all our family meals. There is a washer and dryer that we used while there that was very convenient. In all The whole house/land was very clean, private and spacious. Highly recommended.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Getting inside is no problem. Security system for comfort. Plenty of space to relax or play games. Good size bedrooms with everything clean. Very clear instructions on what to do upon arrival and check out. Very quick communication with host.

We relocated to the area and Hannah and Grant’s was the perfect place for a new beginning. The house was so cozy and had everything we could ever think of needing plus more! The house had gorgeous natural light and beautiful decor. The neighborhood was amazing. Very peaceful and lots of friendly people. The baseball field across the street was fun to people watch and it was great having a playground across the street. There was also another playground a 10 minute walk up the street that my kids loved. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone. We’ll miss it!

The house was perfect for 2 families to meet and enjoy a lake view. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We'd happily stay again!

We will definitely stay here again. Great location that is walkable to Peoria Heights, an area with great restaurants and shops. Very clean and perfect for a family weekend.

If you are staying in the Bloomington/Normal area, you must stay at The Alice! It’s the perfect blend of cozy and cool! Every detail is well thought out. It’s the perfect getaway spot.

This will be our go to when we visit our daughter at school. The location is great, very close to a Dollar General, which was super helpful when I needed something at 8:45pm (they close at 9, lol). Saw numerous deer in the nearby park every day. Loved the fenced in backyard, which was perfect for our golden doodle. The beds were super comfy, loved the decor, the whole place was very clean. The master has a very fun electric fireplace built in to the wall, loved it. The home looks small from the outside, but inside it is very spacious.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, comfy riverfront home! The peaceful setting and stunning river views made it the perfect place to unwind. The private beach was ideal for fishing, relaxing, and sipping coffee while watching the water. My 7-year-old granddaughter spent hours happily collecting seashells, and we loved ending our days with s’mores by the fire pit. The highlight, though, was the night sky—so clear and full of stars. Stargazing by the river was absolutely magical. It truly felt like luxury glamping with all the comforts of home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, peaceful getaway with unforgettable views.

A birthday was celebrated during our stay and Norm was so helpful in placing decorations and making really good dining recommendations for the celebratory meal. Most appreciated!!!
