House holiday rentals in East London

Our family was attending a nieces wedding in Chintsa so this Airbnb was perfect for a weekend of reunions and special moments making memories and what a gorgeous spot it is! Waking up to gorgeous sunsets, having Easter egg hunts (in June) in the garden, and delicious braais and meals prepared in a fantastic kitchen. This house just kept delivering! Thank you for the honour of letting us stay in your gorgeous Airbnb! Oh and did I mention the fantastic Pheliswa who arrived on a Sunday and public holiday and cleaned and serviced the house! What a spoil while on holiday! Thank you for thinking of everything!

Beautiful house in a convenient location, awesome pool room with a nice big TV and home theatre. Lovely pool to cool off in on hot days. Very private with nice views of the river. Air conditioning in almost every room, very nice for dealing with the heat and humidity.

It felt like we had just stepped into a 5 star resort.Every room had two pieces of ferrero rocher chocolates as a welcome gift,this was a nice touch especially for the kids.The master bedroom had a bottle of Sherry which was also a delight for us grown folks.The house is an entertainment haven for both kids and adults.We literally spent every passing hour on that sparkling pool.We made such great memories there as a family.There is absolutely nothing I can fault this house on. The host was gracious and was available whenever we needed assistance.This house is definately one of East London's gems.

We really enjoyed our stay this house, the place was very clean, spacious and we loved the surrounds. The host was super responsive and attended to each of our needs without fail, we will definitely be coming back!

Our first trip back to the Eastern Cape in 13 years was made extra special staying at this gorgeous home in Olivewood Estate. The house was even more spectacular than the photos (if that’s possible)! Charne was the best host and made us feel so welcomed. We felt absolutely safe staying in the estate and got such a kick out of seeing all the wildlife roaming around. Beds and linens were 5 star and we slept off our jet lag in the peaceful surroundings. The Spar shop and local butchery at Crossways had everything we needed for provisions. If you are planning a trip to the Eastern Cape don’t hesitate to book this amazing home.

We had a wonderful stay in the house, in spite of bad weather and closed beaches. Suburban area quiet with very little traffic.The garden was even bigger than we thought, as was theTV -screen and swimming pool. Lovely kitchen with lots of quality pots and pans. Two upstairs bedrooms extremely hot, aircons provided as a necessity. The house is close to the most delicious Spargs I have ever encountered. The curry place around the corner is also commendable. Bonza Bay beach close to the house is beautiful, but quite neglected and according to some (local)warnings, not so safe either. Nahoon beach on other side of river about a 15 min drive away. Warrick is an excellent host with great communication. One small thing - for a three week stay one would expect clean bedding every week- as it was we had to pay the (lovely)cleaning lady and she even started preparing the house for their return while we were hiring her. But this is a minor- thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We had the most incredible stay. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how stunning the place was. The entire home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt so thoughtfully put together. Every single one of the five bedrooms had its own charm and elegance it was clear that a lot of care went into designing each space.The kitchen and common areas were fully equipped with everything we needed, making it super easy to relax and feel at home. But the real standout was the view absolutely unreal. Whether it was early morning or sunset, the scenery outside took our breath away every single time. Jana was so welcoming, kind, and attentive. You could tell she genuinely cared about our comfort and wanted us to have the best experience possible. We felt truly taken care of. This was one of the most beautiful stays we’ve ever had. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable getaway. THANK YOU!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is within walking distance a beach. Restaurants and shops close by too. It was a very peaceful area home which can't recommend highly enough and we generously well catered for by David his family.

Veronica was an amazing host. I think she's just genuinely a good person so thst made her hosting even easier. She was patient, understanding and just kind. I was traveling from Joburg for my wedding and there's family that arrived the morning we checked out who needed a place to freshen up, and she was so understanding- and she didnt need to but she did. The place far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are huge! With great private space. The home was warm- it really felt like a home away from home. There is more tham 1 entertainment space and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, literally 5 minutes away from the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer there but this will definitely be the first place I think of next time I plan a trip to EL. Thank you Veronica, wishing you all the best. You are amazing and honest. I left my wedding ring there and you made sure I get it. There's so much more I could say, but just know that my "thank you" carries much more than those 2 words.

incredible gem of a house in a beautiful unspoilt part of south Africa. you have everything you need: only thing that detracted from perfection was losing water pressure during load electricity load shedding.

Check in was very easy! However, the place had some markings on the walls and lots cockroaches crawling around. It also smelled heavily of cleaning product which was very unpleasant.

We spent such a wonderful time at this place and we are definitely coming back next.

We had a lovely stay. The house has everything you need. It is beautifully decorated. The area is very peaceful with just a few houses in the street. The Crossways centre is just about 10min away with a nice well stocked Spar, as well as some other shops. The nearest swimming beach is Yellow Sands which is a short drive away. There is a lot to do in the area.

What a great time we had at Yanga's warm house. The place was exactly as advertised. Tidy, clean, comfortable, close to everything I needed to be close too.

Nomhle’s place felt like home away from home. It’s a safe and spacious place with a lovely yard and it’s in an area that’s quiet and not far from the N2 highway and Hemmingways Mall amongst other places. The parking space was nice and big for about 5/6 cars and Nomhle herself is a kind and sweet host.

Jessica and her team were amazing, from the communication to check-in. We felt right at home with plenty of space for everyone in the house . The home is beautiful well stocked up. Thank you Jessica and your team.

Great stay. The place is very clean and great value for money. The host Sibo very friendly, reachable at all times and always there to assist in everyway possible. Mamtshawe, the cleaner very friendly and willing to assist as well. My family enjoyed and we all felt at home away from home 🏡. Its ourhome again should we decide to do East London again.

Ncebakazi was a great host. She allowed us to check in 2 hours before check in time. Always called to check if we needed anything. Very responsive to texts and calls.

Nothing makes me happy at an accommodation facility as finding a proper iron and ironing board for my clothes. I was really impressed to find one when I did not really expect there would be. I love cooking, the kitchen is 110% well equipped. You seldom find graters at such facilities but this one had everything that I needed including a braai kettle, what a wow!! Thanks Tish!
