Holiday rentals in East Jaintia Hills

This was our pitstop in Jowai and it was a wonderful stay with all the basic amenities available. Overall it was a pleasant stay!!

We had a lovely stay at James and Suzy’s homestay in Jowai. The space was perfect for two—cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature, which made it feel peaceful and refreshing. Though we didn’t interact much, the hosts were kind, helpful, and always responsive whenever we needed assistance. We did face a few minor issues like mosquitoes, a bit of water clogging in the washroom, and a weak Wi-Fi signal. But these didn’t take away from the overall charm of our stay. Jowai was the perfect base to explore the nearby attractions, and coming back to this little home at the end of the day was always comforting. Thank you, James and Suzy, for hosting us—we truly had a wonderful time!

great place with peaceful ambience and beautifull view.

We stayed in Wailad's place in Jowai for 3 nights.. No hiccups in Checkin. The stay is a duplex house in a residential area. The rooms and bathroom are clean.. Special mention about the big kitchen with all basic setup available for cooking. Jowai is really an underrated tourist spot (as of now). It's far better than Cherrapunji and the other usual spots. Our hosts Wailad and Harsh are also running a travel company.. so it was easy for us to book a cost effective package for the whole week's trip. Apart from the famous Phe Phe and Krang Suri falls, We managed to cover more beautiful spots such as Tyrshi falls, Labon falls (Blue Lagoon), Umbyrlein falls, Moopun, Rynji falls.. All these waterfalls are around Jowai area and super active even in this premonsoon time.. Thanks to our hosts Wailad/Harsh for making our trip so memorable.
