Holiday rentals with a fire pit in East Gippsland Shire

Beautiful place to stay! Lan provided lots of tea, coffee and water for us. Bedding was great, views stunning. Lots of firewood for the fireplace as well, great cooking amenities. Great for a family stay or a weekend away

Cindy is a great host and the place is very beautiful. Cindy was very kind to offer us flexible check-in and check-out, we highly recommend this place to anyone trying to explore lake entrance and other nearby locations

We absolutely loved the place! Was very warm and cozy for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. The open fire was awesome and there was wood there to use. The homemade bread was a delicious treat with our morning bacon and eggs! Beds were very comfy and just a short stroll to the town centre and pub.

We had an amazing stay at Brett & Gary’s. The house was comfortable with all the amenities you would need. The view was unbelievable and the pool was at just the right temperature. Metung is a beautiful part of the world with great places to eat, drink, walk and explore. We can’t wait to come back.

My family and friends stayed at Tony’s for the Merimbula Jazz festival and it was perfect for the large group and was walkable and had a lovely view of the ocean.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this very comfortable apartment. It is in peaceful and tranquil setting in amongst the trees. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen is well equiped. It is easy for travelling into Lakes Entrance, Gippsland Lakes and into nearby Metung. A beautiful place. We would recommend this accommodation.

Great place to stay if you are out all day and just need a place to sleep & bath, as it is small. It was ideal for our stay - family of 4. Has a small kitchen which you can easily cook meals. Good size bathroom, nice and clean. Highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay in Loch Sport and would consider staying here again if we came back to visit the area.

For those who enjoy the bush and isolation with no wifi or mobile coverage but feel like treating yourselves to the cosy comfort of a bed, four walls and a roof, then this is the place for you! The cabin is a spacious property with amazing views of the river and hills. The kitchen is well equipped. We found the large bed very comfortable. We enjoyed whiling away the hours sitting reading in the evenings nestled on one of the settees.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. So cozy in the cooler months with a fire and beautifully built cabin sourced from recycled timber and materials. Bed is super comfy, bathroom lovely outdoor bath available too. The surroundings and views are simply stunning. Fabulous walks. Kitchen cooking supplies had everything you need . Good idea to bring enough food for a few days so you don’t have to worry about going in to town. Close drive to town and beaches. Jodie, Andrew and Dog 🐶 are simply the most wonderful hosts. Dog is the friendliest fury friend. Jodie gave great tips and taught us about the land. The absolute highlight was the stars at night . Prepare to be amazed ⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiny Home. The location is stunning, with beautiful views, and we enjoyed watching the kangaroos grazing on the hills. The alpacas and sheep on the farm add to the charm of the place making the experience even more enjoyable. Joe communicated well throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

It was a great stay, the view from the house was awesome and he been lucky to see the clear sky with the stars. The House was very clean and had a great atmosphere with the fireplace and the general location. It was all in all a great stay and I would love to come back again.

An absolute gem of stay! Superbly located with absolute privacy, I couldn’t have been happier as a solo traveller. With the Alpine ski fields just an hour away , this region offers up an abundance of hikes, incredible drives and stunning scenery all on your doorstep. The real treat is the solitude, peace and tranquility that Blake’s hut offers up. Nestled under a huge gum, with cows and kookaburras for company , I didn’t want to move. Whether inside beside the pot belly stove, outside in the front of the hut sitting at the picnic table by an enormous fire pit, or resting out on the small back deck by the bbq, I was sublimely content. With a book in hand and notebook to capture inspired moments, this truly special off grid location encouraged absolute relaxation. And just to be clear you are absolutely comfortable with piping hot water for baths and a shower from the “practically inside” bathroom , comprehensive kitchen and very comfy beds. No hesitation-perfect 10/10. I’ll be back
