Studio 07: Clean & Modern Double Room w/ Parking

MarianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Clean, the space is clean, comfortable stay. I stay again every time I walk through Tacloban. My home away from home. The CR is clean. The pillows and the bed are humid. There's a table outside, you can hang out or hang out there. There is a safe parking area.

Nice place! With pool upstairs and nice balcony with sea view. They also have water dispenser outside. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Wifi could be improved. Better if the room itself has trash bin. Overall, I had a great stay! Nice one ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Aireen’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless — the cleanliness of the entire space was truly impressive. It’s clear that the host takes great care in maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment. The location is also a major plus — very secure and peaceful, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. We felt safe at all times, whether arriving late at night or heading out early in the morning. Aireen and her staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality really made the experience extra special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and secure place with genuinely kind people hosting!

The whole place and the room is nice. It's quite dated but well built. Pros 1. Parking 2. Huge room 3. Location Cons 1. Doorknobs where quite rusty (i wrapped the Cr doorknobs with plastic ) 2. No shower 3. Dog poop (just be careful not to step on one)

Aesthetic Bohemian Room 102 By FlatsHostel

JiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
**Review of Flats for the Pone (One-Bedroom Unit)** The one-bedroom unit is cozy and well-designed—good enough for two people, though not very spacious. It’s very clean and beautifully decorated, giving a pleasant, homey vibe. The only downside was the bed, which was made of iron and a bit noisy with movement, making it less comfortable. However, overall, the stay was enjoyable, and I would still recommend it to visitors in Tacloban City. I’d definitely book here again—it feels like a home away from home!

Santa Cruz Garden

StefanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The pictures depicted the apartment pretty accurately. It’s located in the city center which makes it easy to explore the area by tricycle. Tacloban is by no means a very walkable city so be prepared to navigate the city with different means of transportations. The garden looks even better at night. It can become very hot during the day in summer so the refrigerator came in handy to cool down some drinks. Brownouts are a thing, but that’s a more of a regional phenomenon that one should take into consideration than a problem with the apartment itself. Knowing that, I would not recommend Tacloban for remote work in general. I appreciated the quiet neighborhood, especially because since city center tends to be on the louder side of things with the constant stream of traffic pouring down the roads. Personally, I feel like I had a more authentic experience with this apartment than I would have had with a hotel room, which means a lot to me.
