The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

The house has a separate entrance for guests. Guests have access to two en-suite bedrooms, one with a queen size bed with shower and a second with two three-quarter beds with bathtub. The self-catering kitchen has a kettle, toaster and coffee machine as well as a convection microwave oven. The patio has a gas BBQ.
