Beautiful view from almost every room, inside is very modern , solar but also Eskom electricity on those rainy days made a big difference. The Tack Room at Nyathi is the ideal space for a couple to experience the beauty and peace of the Drakensberg. The setting is magnificent with amazing views of the mountains and rolling green lawns. It is also situated close to the start of all the major trails of the Monks Cowl Berg area. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The hosts were responsive and helpful and the housekeeper, Flo, was very friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning when next visit the Berg.

What a gem! Perfect place for 2. Spacious, modern and very clean, with everything you need for a very comfortable self-catering stay. Stunning views of Cathedral Peak from the hottub, covered braai area, beautiful gardens, easy access to local restaurants and shops, and 10mins drive from Monks Cowl Campsite/office for some of the best hikes the Berg has to offer. Jess was a fantastic host. We would definitely stay here again.

The photos looked interesting and the reviews were fantastically positive - then the reality? Absolutely splendid! 10/10 - minus nothing! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless, cozy, private, safe, and secluded, with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed (and more) was provided. Michelle was incredibly attentive, offering great advice and quick responses, and Vincent and Nadia were so kind helping us when we got stuck in the mud. Such warm, welcoming hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway - we’ll definitely be back!
