Tent holiday rentals in Drâa-Tafilalet

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.

Beside the beautiful scenery Bivouac offers some berber tents which are simple as we expect. But what we found were also clean toilet and clean hot shower. A genuine place and a great host. Moha was considerate and friendly and we felt always comfortable.

Very nice experience with Hassan. Camelback ride trip to a completely secluded camp in the desert very well framed by our two companions. Upon return excellent breakfast at the departure hotel. We recommend it without hesitation.

We had an unforgettable time with Tarik and his team near Zagora, in the middle of the desert. The camp was beautifully located and very lovingly designed. The overnight stay was comfortable, the food super tasty and the evening entertainment just fantastic – with music, dancing and really good mood under the stars. Breakfast was also plentiful and very delicious. There are various opportunities for leisure activities at the camp, so it never gets boring. On Tarik's recommendation, we drove even deeper into the desert on the second day and spent another night there – a unique experience! Communication with Tarik was smooth at all times. He is an incredibly warm and kind host who really takes care of his guests. Thank you for this special time – we will be happy to come back!

Sarah helped us with all arrangements getting from Marrakech to her place. The driver she arranged was professional and knowledgeable. Mohammed welcomed us at the camp and was helpful and always available for our next adventure! While all the adventures in the desert were amazing, reading and enjoying the quiet were fantastic. Great experience in the desert

Hamza's camp was the perfect escape from the stress of the Moroccan cities. He provided tasty affordable food and lots of useful local advice. He even took us on a fun, great value overnight trip to the desert. Thanks again, Hamza

We chose activities at the same time as the place. Very nice stay. Arriving in Merzouga Mohamed ( the driver/guide) picked us up to take us to the camp in the desert by jeep. The tents are great. There is a sanitary unit with toilet and shower. Electricity in tents. Meals are good. Mohamed ( the waiter) is really super nice, he doesn't have a lot of language in French, but we had a good laugh with him, always ready to help or chat. Then we did a Berber farmers tour not far from the camp. It's pretty special to “visit” people's misery. Then visit the Malian Musicians. At the camp we also enjoyed a Berber music evening, it was very nice. Thanks to all the Mohamed:)

The Sahara camp was beautiful, and the people working there were wonderful. Moreover I arrived to auberge Akabar very early in the morning of my check in and was offered a room and welcomed to use the hotels facilities without a problem until the camels left for the camp at 6pm. Very real and generous people to which I will definitely come back for a visit.

We had a very good night in the tent which is as described. The tent is equipped with electricity and the bed is comfortable. We recommend this campsite and this tent!

Absolutely fantastic experience! This was by far the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Hamid was amazing communication was seamless, and he was quick to answer all our questions. Highly recommend this overnight trip into the desert!!! Amazing experience, so much better than what we heard about some of the more commercial overnight stays!! Mohamed our guide was fantastic- from the camel ride to the small camp and back, through tea and lovely dinner, explaining the animals etc! Absolutely magnificent!! Returning back the next morning to Youssef’s place was also great with showers and a fantastic breakfast! One thing that might help you which wasn’t that clear from the air bnb notes is finding it. It’s right in the centre on the main square and it’s called Auberge Kasbah des Dunes. The map link gets you to general area, then this name will do the rest. Thanks Youssef and Mohamed!

Our stay was amazing and extremely unique. The staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel like home, from late-night home cooked dinners to fireplace and authentic nomad music. The tents literally lie on the Sahara dunes, so you can stroll untouched desert landscapes within seconds. Everything was perfect.

words cant be formed to describe the stay. The whole trip was beyond belief. Youssef and his friends and family made me feel soo at home and comfortable. They made the experience that much better. The scenes of being right in the desert and waking up and looking out to the sahara is incredible. this is a MUST STAY TRIP while you are in Morocco.

Rachid is a very kind person. He invited us to his family home. We ate some local food (couscous) and fresh friuts with him. He is very informative person and well known in Merzouga and Berber villages. I really recommend his hospitality and guidiance ober the Desert.
