Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Downtown, Durham

What a great home in a nice neighborhood with coffee shop and grocery store in walking distance. Loved the outside area and back and front porches. Very comfortable.

This was a perfect place for me and my 2 kitties in Durham for two months. Kay was responsive when we had some wifi troubles, and otherwide let us be (which works great for me). Plenty of room, well stocked, decent desk for my workspace, two comfy beds, nice yard. It's not a great neighborhood, but the immediate space around the house, the block we were on, was perfectly save. Adorable home, obviously a place where people have lived.

We really enjoyed our visit. This was our second time in a house hosted by Amy and Elizabeth and as before, they provided a great experience. The house was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard garden, which was private and has nice furniture to sit on. Trinity Park is a nice neighborhood with beautiful historic homes. We were fortunate to be able to tour several of them as we were there during the neighborhood’s annual tour of homes. It’s close to Duke East campus and a short, easy drive into downtown Durham. I would stay there on a future visit.

As a traveling blues band (Piper & The Hard Times), we stay in AirBnB locations around the country, and Joseph's place was one of the best! It was clean with comfy beds, quiet surroundings, and the front porch is wonderful! It made for a relaxing hang out after our show that night. Highly recommended!

Was a great home to share with my family to celebrate a college graduation

Gayathri’s place was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 during commencement weekend. I cannot say enough good things about her and the space she has created. The family room easily accommodated our group to gather and enjoy time together, and we loved that each bedroom had a king size bed. The location is perfect for quick and easy access to campus and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Gayathri quickly responded to any messages and was such a joy to communicate with. She also left some breakfast items for us which was much appreciated the morning after we arrived. It was so nice to not have to run to the store the moment we arrived. The coffee she provided was also much appreciated! If you have a group visiting Durham and this home is available, do not hesitate to book!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Easy walk to Duke East Campus and 9th Street. Everything was exactly as described and Susan was very easy to work with.

We stayed here while visiting the colleges in the area. 5 minute drive to Duke and 20 minutes to UNC. Silvia was a great host, always timely.

I am one of those people that like to “live” at my Airbnbs - cook, option to do laundry, and hang out comfortably. This place fit the bill. Very well thought out details - well placed plugs for devices, soft towels, comfy bed, bottles of water on bedside tables, pots and pan that were well taken care of, washing machine pods provided, etc, etc. It was quiet and very peaceful situated at the back of the lot surrounded by beautiful trees. Location is perfect for UNC or Carrboro. Hosts were responsive and accommodating concerning specific requests. Highly recommend.

This place was one of the nicest Airbnbs I've stayed at! Very cute decor, exceptionally clean, lots of extras, and the beds were super-comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large front porch. Beth was a also a pleasure to work with and had helpful information about the area. We didn't need to move our car the entire weekend, as the house is right in Carrboro, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and will book again when I'm in the area.

Our stay here was enchanting! This historic home is beautiful and if given the chance, we'd love to stay here again. Perfect sleeping quarters, every convenience thought of, plenty of work and lounge space--and play space with the outside trampoline and equipment! Very close to Cat's Cradle in Carrboro for music shows, which is why we stayed here--which worked out perfectly! Thank you for the wonderful stay and sharing your home with us.

What a perfect location and house! Once we were in, this was a great place! For once in Airbnb history, the kitchen actually had EVERYTHING needed for a meal. Beds were comfy, the front porch was so lovely that we ate out there. Wonderful!

Great one-bedroom spot just a block from Transfer food hall and Burial. Perfect for a 2-person weekend stay. Plenty of street parking in the area but not even needed since there's a driveway for one car! Occasional road noise overnight, but there's a sound machine provided to drown it out.

This was a stunning, home-like retreat with cozy furnishings and great natural light on a private side street within easy walking distance of Duke's East Campus and downtown Durham. The hosts were quick to respond when I needed something. Often an Airbnb is in a great location but not that nice, or vice versa. This, for me, checked all the boxes. Highly recommend and hope to return.

We had a lovely time here! The house is so charming, with a beautiful garden, in a lovely, quiet area, and within walking distance of downtown. The hosts are very responsive and flexible. Wish we got a chance to pet the dogs ;) Can’t recommend it enough.

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is close to many shops and restaurants. The host was very friendly and extremely quick to respond to any questions.

Ann's place was quite lovely and comfortable, and the courtyard is peaceful and beautiful. I only wish I was staying longer so that I could enjoy the place a bit more.

The home was beautiful and had a lot of space. It was just two of us, but we could have easily split it with at least two more people. We especially loved the lake view patio. We enjoyed our morning coffee out there every morning as well as a few night caps. It was so peaceful. Jim was very easy and quick to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda's. The place was just lovely. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathrooms were squeaky clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. We loved the decor! The balcony was great and the woods all around were very peaceful! We would highly recommend and would definitely consider staying again!

We were in town for an event at the Convention Center - great location - 10 min drive. We were even able to check in early! Aside from going to the convention center, we didn’t use our car. Nice walk to many restaurants, shops, etc.Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Raleigh!
