This place exceeded our expectations! Although it’s a shared room, it felt private and it was very quiet. Alex is very friendly and has reasonable rules to make the stay enjoyable. Everything was clean and I recommend it even to those hesitant to try a shared home!

I had a wonderful stay! The soaking tub was divine, the bed was comfortable, and the scone was delicious! David and John are incredibly hospitable hosts and enjoyed their company very much! I felt at ease, comfortable, and right at home during my stay. Staying with them sure beat any hotel room for a solo business trip, as a female traveler! Thank you David and John. I hope to visit again in the future!

Gleaming Private Bedroom in University District!

Perfect place to stay, just what we needed. The setup is three floors: first floor is kitchen and living room. The second and third floors have I think two bedrooms and a shared bathroom each. The bedroom doors all have a key code lock for privacy. The shared spaces (bathrooms, kitchen, etc) are professionally cleaned every day; when we saw the cleaning staff come through they were doing a great job at doing a thorough clean. As a guest, you just do your part to clean up after yourself when you’re done to keep it nice for the other guests, like doing your dishes. For parking, we were able to get free parking right out front on 4th St both nights. The host does a good job communicating. We would 100% stay here again.
