Apartment holiday rentals in Douro River

We really enjoyed staying here. Communication with the owner was fast, smooth, and a very warm and attentive person. The house is very well connected to the center of Madrid and with a €10 RENFE voucher, we have been able to travel unlimitedly by train for a few months, which being on the outskirts did not mean so much expense in transportation. Everything is very clean and pleasant, equipped with everything you need, and in a quiet place. (as some commented, in one of the rooms there is no window, only in the other, but this was not a problem for us.) We would definitely repeat.

Spacious accommodation but less bright than it appears in the photos. Allows you to visit Madrid on foot and the surrounding cities either by train or bus very easily.

This apartment could not be better located and is exquisitely decorated. Such a great value for the nightly rate. After a little help from our host with the washer/dryer, our stay was seamless. Thanks again and we look forward to our return!!

I felt welcomed by the bottle of wine and handwritten letter on the dining table when I opened the door and entered, and the interior, furniture, kitchen facilities, etc. of the house were so comfortable and nice for two people to stay in that the atmosphere inside and outside the house was completely different. The scenery is the current appearance of Porto, where trains are running and construction is underway here and there, so it's unavoidable, but when the door is closed, it's well soundproofed, so it's not a big problem.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. We received extensive explanations about the area and the apartment. Nothing was too much. Plus were the 2 bikes we were allowed to use to visit the city of Porto. Owner is very attentive and helpful. Should we want to visit Porto again, we will definitely take this accommodation again!

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

We had a great time staying in O Grove! Great location with close access to everything you need. Pablo was great at communicating beforehand and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out was super speedy to get someone else to let us in. The apartment was great for our needs. It had everything we needed and we really loved using the rooftop that had a great 360 view! We had a good experience and definitely recommend staying here! Overall would recommend

Alicia was very kind. the apartment was impeccable, clean and organized. The beds, great. She left coffee, chocolate and tea for us, as well as olive oil and salt for cooking. It's not in the center, but it's only a 10-minute walk to the aqueduct. There were 4 of us and we loved the stay. ❤️

The place is very functional and beautiful, you have a very beautiful view and Pilar was very helpful in all the details. We regret that the pool was not enabled, it was very hot and it looked very attractive to cool off.

What can I say, everything was fantastic... it felt like home! Eva was very helpful, she fulfilled all my requests. When she came for check-in, she brought candy for our three children. Every time I wrote to her on WhatsApp, I received an immediate response. If I return to Madrid, Eva's house will be my point of reference...also because the Metro under the house is priceless! I highly recommend this place!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

This Airbnb is in a good location for accessing all that Porto has to offer, on foot. It was nice to have two floors and not be in an apartment as most other airbnbs seem to be. It was very clean and well considered with touches such as an iron, hairdryer, kettle etc. The Airbnb was quiet from external noises such as the street etc and very peaceful in this respect. I do however have to say that the above apartment can be heard quite loudly moving about which did disrupt our sleep as it was usually later at night but they were just moving about, couldn’t hear music or tv late and noise from footsteps would stop around 1130/midnight. Overall I would stay again as it was a lovely airbnb. Nice for relaxing, always warm showers, two toilets, tv and sofa if needed. All good. Thank you.

A very spacious apartment with good amenities and a large terrace overlooking the cathedral. We particularly liked the location, as you could reach a lot on foot. The car was safely in the underground parking.

It was our second time at Santiago's house, and we will surely repeat. We feel at home in your apartment, which is very cozy and does not lack detail. The building's grounds are delightful, very quiet and with several spaces to enjoy the outdoors. Santiago is waiting for everything to go well. The concierge staff are also very attentive. We'll be back, for sure.

The apartment is as described in the application, with spacious, exterior rooms and very well equipped both in the kitchenware, as well as in the bathrooms or rooms. The terrace is excellent and very well equipped for eating or simply relaxing with the views it has. Only one drawback, you need a car to go down to the center or have good legs 🦵since there is a lot of slope. Montse, the owner, extraordinary service.

The apartment is very beautiful and in a great central area. We went everywhere by foot. The communication with Daniel was perfect, he is very nice and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Modern and clean appartment, great location with easy access to the beach

Ila de Arousa is a beautiful place. lots of easy walks. good supermarkets. Kitchen well appointed to make our first home cooked meals of the trip. view from dining room surpassing any restaurant. would recommend this location for a restful break.
