Chalet holiday rentals in Douro River

We had a fantastic time here: a beautiful property in a beautiful location! Fantastic for groups who love hiking and nature, but also had everything we needed to cook some delicious meals with beautiful views. Susana was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed.

The stay was unbeatable. Caridad gave us many good recommendations for activities in the village and the surrounding area, as well as restaurants and tascas nearby. By finding us in a nerve center, we were able to make a lot of visits (Salamanca, Toledo, Ávila, Medina del Campo, Arévalo, Segovia, Pedraza, etc.). Upon returning, the Casita del pajar waited us hot. A pleasure!

The house was very well prepared, with a multitude of games for the little ones. The outdoor space is very nice for bbq and enjoying with friends. The beds are comfortable. The hostess was very caring and pleasant. He responded very quickly to a small problem upon arrival.

A great house! Gema prepared the pool so we could use it. It has a great and comfortable patio where we were super comfortable and the surprise we got when we saw that there were turtles😊. The only thing I could say as bad, the heat accumulated upstairs at night. It is very easy to get there and the access is very well explained

Simply perfect! The stay at Inmaculada's house was amazing. The spacious, comfortable and very clean house is located in a residential area where peace and quiet prevail. Located about 10 minutes walk (taking a walk around the area) from the center of the village where we find all kinds of services. One night we didn't feel like going out and we ordered dinner from Glovo, which goes that far! The best of all is the garden where we have been able to enjoy long baths in the pool, we have barbecued and had breakfast under the shade of a fig tree. We will definitely be back soon! Last but not least, we highlight the kindness and hospitality of the immaculate hostess, we were pleased to meet her. We recommend it for a family stay.

We went 6 and we were very comfortable, the house is beautiful and very cozy. We went for a weekend, had a barbecue and enjoyed the view that the house has. The host was very attentive, very good communication and a lot of detail. I would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing stay! The Chalet is beautiful and offers tranquility as it is nestled in the mountains and has serene views. Despite being hard to find, it was worth every penny. We would definitely stay there again! Bonus, Carla was an amazing host! She was so helpful in finding the chalet as we got lost twice. Carla and her husband even drove to find us and led us to the Chalet. If we needed anything she seemed to always respond rather quickly. Overall, it was a great stay!

The accommodation is in a gated community. It is the ground floor of the house, with plenty of privacy. The house is great, it has everything you need and accommodates up to 6 people very well. I felt at home and my whole family loved it. Thank you so much, Carlos!

16 of us stayed here and it was perfect for a large group. It had everything we needed! Lovely pool and communal areas for eating together. Not far from the airport and the host was so lovely - picked up extra water and ice for us!

Alex's house is very spacious, the rooms are huge, both inside the house and outside. The location is very good, it overlooks the estuary and the garden area, swimming pool and barbecue are very good.

Perfect for a family with children! The property is quite big with enough room for large groups and the grill area is close to the swimming pool. Miguel is a great host and was ready to help anytime.

A highly recommended house, in a quiet area near Valladolid. Very well equipped and spacious. With a meeting area in the basement with plenty of space and entertainment. David was very kind and attentive during the stay. To repeat without a doubt.

Since we made the reservation, Elena has been attentive to any questions you may have had. Very friendly, and everything from check-in to check-out time, perfect. The house was spotless, everything was very clean. And it's in a very quiet area. We went with the dog and it was perfect for her to be at home and for walks in the area. It is also close to Portugal. David is very friendly and responsive. Her sister-in-law Nati welcomed us at home. Everything was perfect, and both very attentive.

It was an amazing surprise to stay in this little treasure. Maria Helena was an amazing host and explained everything right. Only those who are on this site really feel how special it is. From the common areas, to the windows between the bedrooms, living room and kitchen (even tastes to wash the dishes with that view), the much-loved "rooftop"/terrace, never drinking a cafe was so good. For those who need to rest a few days, this is undoubtedly one of the places to stay, 3 days that seemed like a week. No doubt I will return!! Our thanks to D. All phenomenal, Felicita is always attentive to collaborate and help with any questions that arise. The area is lovely, with barbarian beaches and very entertaining amusement parks. I recommend it!

What an amazing house! The drive is down a steep lane and then you arrive at the wonderful house. Perched by the lake (grassy banks leading down to lake with pontoon with steps) the house is set in the hill surrounded by beautiful trees. An amazing terrace with picture perfect view across the lake. Swimming pool lovely temperature. We are outside on the terrace every night and swam in the lovely lake every day. Vicente was the most wonderful host. He met us to help direct us to the house and showed us around. Any question I had he was quick to reply. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊
