Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Doucier

Great weekend with friends, with the children in Edita's nice accommodation... We were able to enjoy a Jurassian interlude between hiking to the Hérissons waterfalls, tasting Jura wines by the fire while playing board games and breakfast at a large table in the morning... The cleaning was spotless, there is very good bedding, all the equipment for babies, books and board games for all ages... And I admit that the possibility of making a small fire in the stove once the coolness of the evening has set in is the icing on the cake. Edita was responsive to our messages and available. We highly recommend this accommodation if you want to discover the charms of the Jura!

This place had a simple and understated charm and we relaxed the moment we set foot in the house. We appreciated the coolness as it was extremely hot during our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the king size bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. The garden is wonderful with plenty of shade and totally fenced (upper section) Annick and her English speaking friend gave us a very warm and helpful welcome.

Thanks for this beautiful stay. We loved being in this house as a family, there is a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Everything is convenient. An excellent stay 👌

We had a lovely time in David’s place, everything was clean and exactly as described. Incredibly peaceful surroundings as well and the location is great, right in the middle of Chateau Chalon

We had a great time! Delphine was responsive, was able to answer all our questions and communication was very easy. Thanks for allowing us to reunite as a family in this beautiful place. The accommodation is impeccable, with lots of activities for children: games available, swing, swimming pool and jacuzzi. I recommend this listing 1000%!

The chalet is spacious, very clean, nothing was missing in the kitchen. We were 5 adults and 4 children, the game room made us happy. We spent 5 wonderful days in Foncine-les-Hauts. The view from the chalet is breathtaking.

Vincent was very communicative Right from the start. He greeted us at the gate and explained everything. There was homemade cake left for us which was delicious and we could order cookies and cake prior to arriving if we wanted to. Unfortunately it was only an overnight stay but enough to want to return. I noticed amenities for small children like highchair, stair gate, plates, cups etc and a low chair for babies and I think there were toys and games in a chest. I travelled with 2 friends from NZ- no children . Vincent was there to see us off in the morning and was concerned that we enjoyed his place, which we did. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling in this region.

We had a pleasant time at Julia and Thomas's. The accommodation is beautiful and spotless. The bedding is impeccable. It is very quiet in the surroundings with a nice outdoor space to play with the children. Lots of things to do nearby. Thank you so much. We would definitely recommend this place. A great base to shine in the Jura, visit the charming villages, the salt pans, the county house, the many fruit trees, lakes and other waterfalls... all within a radius of less than an hour. There is something for everyone with many restaurants, going from pure local to gastro Michelin-starred. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped (special mention in the kitchen). The view is just sumptuous! What a pleasure every night to dine on the terrace enjoying the sunset. You can't get tired of it! The heated pool is a must. Its size will delight both those who want to play and those who want to swim. Finally, Nathalie and her husband are attentive hosts with good information (who facilitate access), good recommendations and with whom it was particularly easy to communicate.

We had a pleasant stay at Patricia and Frédéric's house. Patricia and Frédéric are responsive and available. The accommodation is very clean. The living room is very bright and sunny as well as the large west facing terrace are a real plus; just like the open view. The two bedrooms in a row on the garden level, accessible from the garden, did not bother us as it is a sleeping area. The swing was much appreciated by our daughter. Plus, the house is well located. A stone's throw from the waterfall of the hedgehogs and the Pic de l 'Aigle. We would recommend this listing.

This is a real dream place. The house has absolutely everything to spend an amazing break by the lake. Nicolas is an incredible host and was very attentive to any minor detail that we needed. We left today and we are already looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.
