Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. A central factory studio (20m2) with a sink. Comfortable for two, but can also accommodate four guests. Two large windows are facing the west. Our studios are various sizes and have everyone's choice. They're lined with wood and well insulated so that no one can disturb guests when they're working or resting. They have east or west natural light that spins through large windows. All elictive lights are equipped with a blink remover so that it doesn't snooze or too low.

Malé změny dělají celek. Celek pak prezentuje naplněné sny. Snažíme se udržet hodnotu historie, kterou hledáme pod nánosy jílu, barev, obkladů a listí. Vize je ale jasná. Tu jsme napsali hned na začátku a držíme se ji mozoly i odřeninami. Prostě: "Cimra bude. Nový projekt. Starý dům. Krásné místo. Prostor snům." Great spot, and the old sanatorium is still (as of writing) pre-reconstruction and can therefore be explored. Be aware that the sink/shower facilities are incredibly barebones - more of an afterthought. Otherwise, it's just the spot for an overnight stay while visiting the mountains in the area.

Beautiful apartment after total renovation, perfectly cleaned, equipped. Everything available, fully equipped. Perfect communication with the owner. Worse environment, but not annoying. Thank you for the surprise upon arrival. We can only recommend.

Great place! Loved the sauna and the fireplace, the bed was really comfortable and it was so relaxing to be in nature. Only recommendation, It has a Nespresso machine but no stores nearby sold pods so if you're a coffee fan I'd suggest bringing your own pods! We had a brilliant trip

A charming little cabin almost right in the middle of wilderness, close to the start of many hiking trail (within walking distance) and to a great restaurant (Kortus) about 15 minutes by foot. And of course, Lila the host was very friendly and helpful!

We were very nicely received by Ivan and his dog. A bottle of wine awaited us as a welcome at the accommodation. The accommodation is beautifully furnished and the highlight is the gallery, which is used for sleeping. Since it can get very warm there in the summer, there is air conditioning. We can only recommend the place.

Thank you for the very clean and modern accommodation in an absolutely top location for hiking. We enjoyed the balcony very much - the tranquility, the view and watching the swallows in the evening. Local gastronomy with traditional dishes can be reached in three minutes on foot.

We spontaneously stayed with Daniela and fell in love with the small apartment right away. It is located in the house of Daniela&Family and is really just super beautiful, cozy and creatively furnished - with attention to detail. Super quiet location, were awakened by rooster and tasted the eggs from the farm chickens. We will definitely be back! Daniela and family are very, very nice and completely uncomplicated, thank you! :)
