Cottage holiday rentals in Dorking

Lovely house and beautiful location for our mother’s 60th celebration family gathering. The beautiful views from the garden, fire pit and hot tub were a great hit. We did two lovely walks from the property - one to a vineyard - and there are some fun cafes/bars in the village as well. Sandra and her husband made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and communication was very quick. I would recommend this property :)

Very cozy and quiet cottage in an idyllic area. Super friendly host and had plenty of great recommendations for us. The sauna is also Finnish approved! 😉

This was our second time staying and we loved it as much as the first time. The place is so peaceful and cosy. Jane was very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to booking another stay in the future!

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

We've spent a week there. Great place, clean, good condition, good communication with host. Nothing to complain about. We'll be back next time for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house, cozy yet spacious and with an amazing garden. It was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, enjoy the sunshine, relax in the hot tub, and gather around the firepit and BBQ. Keith and Jean were very welcoming and kindly showed us around, even though we arrived late. A fantastic place, we highly recommend it!

Another fantastic stay at the Piggery! Clare was once again super helpful and responsive. It really is a fantastic Air BnB, with lots of great options for things to do nearby - book it while you can!

Felt very welcome lovely cosy place for a family Tanya made us a delicious cookies which we really enjoyed it was very nice of her to take her time out and make us delicious treat,the pool and jacuzzi was the best part for my son enjoyed every bit of it Tanya is very lovely host wouldn’t think twice to come back thank you for a enjoyable weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Groyne. It’s very clean and comfortable, exactly as shown on the listing. There were clearly thoughts put into the color scheme and beach life theme which we really enjoyed. The beach is a very short walk away and also the town centre. Our host Alex and Jane had been very proactive and helpful, very responsive to our requests and questions. Very nice place and host. I would recommend.

A relaxing, enjoyable and well equipped place to stay. Comfortable and nicely renovated. Great views and walkable amenities.

We loved staying at Renny's place in Arundel. We were able to park our car right in front of the house each day as we returned from our outings, and we also walked to the Castle, restaurants, and coffee. Very nicely decorated and loved the original art.

We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend stay at Jennifer’s place with our 11 & 8 year old children. Perfectly equidistant between Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. The house is so cute and had everything we needed. It’s down a lovely quiet road and was so peaceful and overlooked trees and fields. We also had dinner in the local pub (Bell) which was lovely.

Our stay with Caroline & David was great. Very friendly, helpful & were always willing to help with anything. The property & gardens were amazing & safe for our dog Olive who does like to wander every nook & cranny. The bottle of bubbly, crisps, home made jams, & Olive’s doggy treats were most welcome & a nice touch. Thank you! We made the very most of our stay regarding sightseeing & it was always nice to return to our dwelling at the end of the day. Hope to return in the future.

Such a lovely home, we didn't want to leave! Hosts were excellent communicators and also very warm and kind people. Loved our walks along the canal and peaceful surroundings. We will be back!

Victoria’s cottage and the stunning location was absolutely superb. Victoria couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming and went out of her way to make for a fantastic stay. The cottage and grounds are beautiful and a short distance away from the lovely village of Mayfield. It’s clear why everyone rates staying so highly. I’m looking forward to a return visit soon.

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The location is perfect for exploring the Sussex countryside (Petworth, Ridgeview etc all nearby). The house was clean and well equipped, and Chris was communicative throughout. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the grind with friends or family - with the added bonus of a village pub in spitting distance!

My husband and I stayed for a few nights over a weekend. The coach house is absolutely lovely. It is very comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful and was a nice respite from having spent time in busy London. You have everything you need to relax, sleep well and cook in. The place is nicely designed, tastefully decorated and clean. Petra greeted us upon arrival, showed us around and left us lovely provisions (decadent cakes!) to get us started on a nice weekend. We went for long walks/runs in Richmond Park (a 5 min walk away), and enjoyed hanging out in the house on a rainy Saturday. A large Sainsbury's is a 15-min walk away, and the Noribiton station is a 20 min walk. The coach house is located in a peaceful neighborhood with little traffic. We walked or took public transport. All in all, a fantastic, quiet getaway. We would definitely stay again.

Needed a place to crash for 6 weeks while having work done at home. It had everything we needed. Good responsive host, has made every effort to ensure all amenities were available. Highly recommend for short or long stays.. close to railway, motorway and shops.. Only improvement I would recommend is up security. No alarm, no external CCTV and only a single Yale lock on front door..

Absolutely beautiful and stunning – the perfect little getaway for me and my friends! Everything was thought through down to the finest details, with such lovely personal touches throughout. We had a wonderful break in this charming cottage, right in the heart of the beautiful village of Bray. Thank you for such a special stay!

What a lovely, lovely place this is to stay. As Didier was showing me around when I arrived he stopped suddenly and said 'Oh, I think it's a chaff-chaff!' We stood and listened to the chiff-chaff's call, and I knew I'd love my 3 nights in this gorgeous wild hideaway. It's so beautiful - Didier and Diane may be musicians but they think like artists - the table is placed where the light will hit it most beautifully; the blankets on the sofa invite you to lounge. I alternated between reading, writing, lying on the very comfortable bed listening to birdsong and looking up at the sky through the dormer window. Sometimes I ventured outside to sit in the garden, or wander to the village shop, which doubles as a pub at weekends, or drive off to Charleston, or Virginia Woolf's house or to the South Downs for a walk. It's a charming, beautiful place, owned by two very special, warm and friendly people. I'll be back, many times.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We took our nearly 3 year old daughter with us and she loved it. The use of the owners garden and the fact that we could pick the fruit within was a nice touch. The views of the High Weald Landscape to the north was beautiful too. Property had everything we needed and was very clean. Location was perfect for visiting Hever Castle, Chartwell, Scotney and Battle! There are so many other places to visit that we will definitely be back to stay again and explore the area further! Sarah was very welcoming also. Highly recommend!
