Apartment holiday rentals in Donostia-San Sebastian

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby and had a very comfortable stay. Would stay here against and recommend to others. It can get noisy from the road below and needs better blinds / curtains (the ones there are only privacy blinds and the sun shines through). Also, keep in mind there is no AC and although it was only 20C during our stay, it got very warm. I do think it’s a little on the expensive side for what it is, but really nice stay!

Spacious, comfortable apartment in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastián. The location is great, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, markets, etc. The apartment faces inside and it's very quiet. The roll-down shades make the apartment really dark which is great for sleeping. The apartment has an open setup so there's lots of room in the kitchen area. The apartment is located in the 1st floor which makes it easy to walk up but there's also an elevator. The place is located close to the beach (~10 minute walk) but there's no "direct access" per se as mentioned on the listing. The apartment has both a dish washer and a laundry washing machine which is very useful.

Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

Vanesa is a wonderful host. Her apartment is lovely. Comfortable, spacious and attractive. She is proactive, for example, letting us know the weather forecast. Vanesa provided breakfast for us. This is a most pleasing extra. Her local recommendations are excellent. San Sebastián is a beautiful city. Staying in Vanesa’s apartment is perfect for a stay in the city. Thank you Vanesa. The apartment is beautifully designed and located in an excellent area. Communication with the owner was smooth and pleasant. My parents and I really enjoyed our stay and are already wishing to come back in the near future. A slightly lower cost would make it even more attractive, but given the location and the quality of the facilities, the price is understandable.

We loved our second stay at this beautiful apartment. It is in the best location and has everything we could ever want. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Maria Jesus was super responsive and answered our questions immediately. We hope to be back soon, but in the meantime we couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This place is in the best location! Close to everything. We easily walked everywhere. Big grocery store, shops and restaurants all around. The swimming beach is a short walk. The apartment is just as described. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and had a lot of space. The unit and the building entry were very clean. In the States, we would call it on the third floor. There is a well functioning elevator if needed. There is a small clothes washer but no dryer. You can hang your clothes out to dry. It was no problem just takes awhile. There was plenty of hot water for all of us to shower. We would definitively stay in Ekaitz’s place again!!

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful apartment. It was lovely to return after a busy day of sightseeing and sit and watch the river rise and fall with the tides. A great neighbourhood to wander around away from the old town but close enough to walk in for some pinxos and wine. We ate at Bodega Donastria a few times which was just around the corner. Fabulous food and service. The perfect place to stay in SS, so much better than a hotel.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this apartment in the heart of San Sebastián’s Old Town. The location couldn’t have been better—steps away from the best pintxo bars, the beach, and all the charm the city has to offer. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. What truly made this stay unforgettable was the host. They went above and beyond in every possible way—genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. When I accidentally left behind a personal item, the host not only found it but promptly arranged to have it sent back to me without hesitation. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated.

We had an incredible time in San Sebastián and a lot of that had to do with our stay here. Such a great location with amazing restaurants and bars near by (you must try Desy Vegas). Paula’s flat was spacious, stylish and had beautiful natural light. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend!

The Air BnB was perfect, located so closely to the beach we were never far from where we wanted to go. Kira was a perfect, responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

Irati was very welcoming. She met us at the door and showed us around the apartment and then provided information on where we should go for dinner. The apartment was large and very well presented. It was also walking distance to everything that we wanted to see, do and eat. I would highly recommend Irati and her apartment to anyone wanting to visit San Sebastián.

A very nice, clean and modern place. We loved it!

We had a great stay at Mentxu's place. Mentxu was really helpful and his instructions for finding and checking in were very clear. Apartment was really clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed (washing machine and tumble dryer came in more handy than we expected). Despite being only a short walk from the busy town and beach the apartment is in a very quiet area. Our only negative is that the main door to the block of flats has an automatic close mechanism which causes the door to slam loudly whenever any of the residents of other flats come or go. Don't know if this is just the way the closer works or if it is possible to get it adjusted to be quieter. Overall we had a great stay and would stay at Mentxu's again if we return to San Sebastian.

Egoitz is a fantastic host - extremely responsive and helpful; the apartment was clean and full of both the promised amenities and some nice welcome gifts. His local guide was extremely helpful and we appreciated all his recommendations. Overall, highly recommend this unit for a stay in San Sebastian!

Very good welcome, good advice for activities. Responsive to demand. We had a pleasant stay, unfortunately shortened by the rain, but we'll keep in touch to come back with pleasure when the sun is out. Thank you for everything.

we spent 10 incredible days... relaxing quiet rest... beautiful walks for the dog and great location for fishing enthusiasts...... We really enjoyed our stay at Oscar's apartment. It was clean, well located to the beach and restaurants, whilst being a walkable distance to Old Town.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The space is perfectly prepared and there is nothing we missed. Highly recommended and we would even repeat!

Great stay at Francine's. Discreet host. We recommend this place. Plus, it's not very far from Spain for a shopping trip.

Ane is a wonderful, friendly host. She replied instantly to every question, and provided extremely helpful instructions about finding the apartment, and critically, where to park. (This is important if you have a rental car.) And she took the time to meet us in person when we drove in, to be sure we were able to get our stuff unloaded. This was no small thing, because the streets are tight in the neighborhood and it’s basically impossible to park on the street. Plus, the “welcome” bottle of local wine was very nice. The apartment was spotless, roomy and PERFECTLY located. Beds were comfy, bathrooms very clean, and plenty of towels and blankets. Being on the top floor, it includes an awesome patio. The washing machine came in handy. Importantly, the apartment is just outside Old City, which can get loud. A 5-minute walk from the Old City and the water, it’s quiet and a great place to relax after a day of hiking or exploring. 100% great experience. Eskerrik asko!
