Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dongdaemun District

Lara is the most helpful and kind host ever, and the apartment itself is stunning. The decorations are beautiful and all amenities were working just fine. I love that the shower doesn't directly spray onto the toilet unlike most other houses in korea. While it's in the outskirts of seoul, it doesn't feel desolate because there's a huge mall and a major train/airport bus station nearby. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful Hanok, very well decorated and clean. The location is close to a subway, so it's easy to get around Seoul. The place is peaceful, full of restaurants and cafes nearby. I thank our host for his responsiveness and kindness. 😊

The host Min was very approachable, responsive and friendly from the get go. The hanok was a unique, well-equipped house with daily necessities, even complimentary food & drinks, and adapters. The place was very clean & well-maintained by Min & her husband. Relatively close to Dongdaemun station exit 1 and 9 (about 10 min slow walk up the hill). It was nice to have 2 bedrooms & 2 toilets. Location wise - climbing up the hill with luggage was challenging, recommended to take cab if have many heavy luggages. Overall would recommend if you are young, fit and looking for unique accommodation in the heart of Seoul.

Me and my partner enjoyed our stay and would love the opportunity to stay there again in the future. The amenities were as listed, and whenever anything came up the host was very responsive and assisted us with any and all questions

While living in Taiwan, I missed Korea a lot. My husband and I wanted to walk slowly through Changgyeonggung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace, and our children wanted to shop in Dongdaemun Gate. It was nice to be in a position where all of our family members were satisfied, and it was convenient to visit until late at night because it was located very close to Hyehwa Station and the main road. Especially, the children kept telling me that they loved the bunk bed, so I was grateful for that. Most of all, thanks to the delicate and warm consideration of the host, haru, I am recharging my heart on my trip to Korea, which I missed. I will also come back to haru's lodging in Korea next time. Until then, stay healthy. haru.

This place was great, as well as the host Jane and her very helpful mother. It felt like home and we didn’t want to leave. Will definitely book the same accommodation again when we come back.

Great location with access to buses and metro and a palace 5 minutes away on foot! Lots of cafes and restaurants, and a pharmacy and convenience store less than 3 minutes walk away. It's perfect for the solo traveller. It may be small but it has everything uou need, including a comfy bed!

This is a lovely apartment in a really great area of Seoul. It was cosy, comfortable, warm and well equipped! Bruce left clear instructions for check-in and was very responsive on messages. The snacks and drinks were a lovely added bonus. I really enjoyed my week in Seoul at Bruce’s apartment and would recommend it!

It's my 2nd time staying at Mir's place and it has always been a really enjoyable one. Mir's place made me felt really at home as it offers many amenities and items that one is likely to need during the stay/trip. Mir also gave really clear guidance and attended to all enquiries very patiently. Would choose to come back again if I have the opportunity to visit Seoul again! ^^

Jason was a great host that was really responsive and answered our requests/questions really well in English! Location was super near 2 convenience stores that are open 24/7, it was easy to find and convenient to travel from place to place like Seong-Su. Great experience!

Great location with numerous restaurants in the area, and access to multiple subway lines as well! The place was quaint and the small touch of setting up the radio to Seoul’s classical music station was really nice. We can’t wait to come back for another trip in the future!

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

Very good location, it was super clean and the neighbourhood was very quiet! Also the host is amazing, great communication, my friend accidentally left her clothes in the washing machine and when I asked if they could ship it to us they made sure of it. I would def recommend!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

I stayed with a friend for more than a week and we felt good at the accommodation.. William was friendly and communicative. The location is very good, in an area where the locals live ..and from the central area we took the bus about aprox 30 minutes. I highly recommend this accommodation 🤗

Everything about this trip was fantastic, including this home. The view was stunning and the train station was right out front which made getting around super easy. My friends and I could not have been happier with how helpful and friendly our hosts were as well anytime we needed to reach out. We loved it here! Thank you for lending your home to us!
