Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dongan-gu

We had the best of times at this AirBnB! Every morning we had a different breakfast prepared by the host. Always delicious and satisfying. She was very gracious and extremely responsive despite there being a language barrier. The space itself was very tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Since each room had a door that leads directly to the courtyard, each room’s occupants were able to come and go without bothering each other. :) There’s a fun food market within walking distance. We got to try a lot of different foods! There’s a lot of cool places to travel to and explore; we highly recommend visiting the local palaces. If we ever get the chance to return to Korea, we would happily stay here again!

The three families rested so comfortably! I held a cooking class for the kids, and they loved it, and the pizza they made was so delicious!! After going, I used a lot of English. Heh heh. Next time I travel to Incheon, I want to use it again!

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from seoul station exit 12 (with lift for your luggage), convenient store just around the corner. Vry quiet neighbourhood, we had a great rest. We stayed for 3 nights, able to wash n dry our cloth which is a added bonus. Highly recommended

Helpful and accommodating host. The apartment was exactly as advertised and if there is anything you need, just let them know and they will make it happen. Great hosts and amazing staff support to fix things or gives rides!

It was a comfortable stay—very convenient in many ways as well. Yoony was really responsive and hospitable. The house also looked its name, Art House. I’d stay here again! It’s a bit of a hike to get here from the bus station so those with knee problems should keep that into consideration. The alley in front is narrow so sometimes taxi drivers want you to walk where they are. That said, I’m in my 60s and did fine!

I stayed at Do’s place with two friends for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The flat is beautifully decorated and welcoming; we enjoyed the view from the terrace during sunset and the peaceful surroundings. Right next to the flat there’s a lovely breakfast place called Sunday Arvo where we went almost every day. The location is great, walking distance to the bustling Itaewon and Hannam area where Leeum museum and a lot of cute shops and cafes are. We used the bus or Uber to get to other areas of the city. I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is perfect and very close to the subway station (Line 4) and convenience stores, making it easy to get around. The place offers great privacy and top-notch facilities. The host is super approachable and responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!

Amazing apartment, we stayed for one week and loved it. The location is amazing, it's walkable to two subway stations on two lines for easy access to the city. Woojin was a helpful and responsive host, thanks to him we had no issues with our holiday and he was proactive to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. 10/10 would stay here again if we're back in Seoul.

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in Heanu’s home! Our host went out of their way to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The home was clean and pictured as expected. We were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there is a steep hill to get to the home, but you can take a detour on the next street for a slightly less steep hill!

Jaekwang and his wife Hyeran was very gracious host. Very spacious accommodations with everything you. Plenty of great places for coffee and good food. The train station was a bit far. However there are a lot of buses in the area. My sister and I took the bus to Ewha Womans University. I would definately recommend this property to others.

I had an amazing stay at Yujin’s Airbnb! The place was spotless and cozy, and she thoughtfully provided essentials like toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower supplies—which was such a nice touch. The location is fantastic, with plenty to do in the area and excellent public transport options that made getting around super easy. It’s also really convenient if you have a flight from Gimpo Airport—just a short trip away. There are several convenience stores, cafés, and even a pharmacy nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Fefa Station is the nearest station.From Fefa Station, there is no up and down the road, so it is easy to understand and easy to get to the house.(You can also walk to Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, but it is a little further than Fefa Station, and there is a little up and down.) The bus stop called Dongdaemun General Market is about between Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, so it is easy to understand how to get to and from the airport⇔ house. The house is clean and stylish as pictured.It is kept clean and pleasant. There is also a range, pots, dishes, silverware, pots, knives, etc., and dish soap. You can also use the washing machine, but please take your detergent with you. There is also a balcony where you can enjoy meals. The surrounding area is safe and very quiet. There is a Starbucks and CU (convenience store) between the area around Fefa Station to the house, making it convenient.There are also cafes, mochi shops, and bakeries. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom.Body soap and shampoo are also available.Bring your own toothbrush. The host will give you recommendations for nearby shops and send me a message how to use the room.They returned my questions right away and prepared what I asked for right away.Thank you for your kindness, polite, and quick to respond.

The location is very close to Hongdae, although there is no elevator, but you just need to walk a few steps. The bathroom is a little small, but the room is big with the living room Because it is right next to the street, someone talking loudly in the morning at night will hear it directly and may need to wear ear plugs that are sensitive to sound. Anything else will be fine

I like that it is close to Suwon Messe and Suwon Station!! The hosts are kind and take care of them.😊😊

Memorable stay at Vincent’s hanok. Walkable, close to restaurants, touristy sights, loved the courtyard where our family gathered. The experience in staying at a hanok was one of a lifetime. Quiet sleeping after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Our host, Gyongok, greeted us warmly with a smile, even though we arrived around midnight. She kindly showed us around the house and where everything was. The place was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The compact kitchen was perfect for light cooking — we could easily fry eggs and prepare some ramyeon. The dining table comfortably fit our family of four, making mealtimes easy and cozy. The rooms were spacious enough for us to feel at ease, and the main room even had a small sofa where we could relax. There was ample space for our luggage, too, which helped us stay organized during our stay. The house itself is a charming little spot — centrally located, within walking distance to everything we needed, yet tucked away enough to offer peace and quiet at night. It was our first trip to Seoul, South Korea as a family of 5 and Jenny was a great host. Before we even travelled to Seoul Jenny was brilliant in her communication, easy to communicate with whenever we had any questions about the property or Seoul during our stay. Jenny was super friendly and helpful. The place itself was a little difficult to find initially, but expected with the city and properties setup in that manner, but once we found it, for the rest of the trip it was awesome, as it was close to subway (10min walk) and bus connection (2mins walk) which allowed us get to all the main areas we needed to go to with one connection. The property itself was super clean, Jenny provided everything from toiletries, kitchen amenities and plenty of bottled water which was super nice of her, especially as we needed water for the kids milks etc. the property had a washing machine and drier, convenient for us as a family to do washes. Finally Jenny helped to book our Taxi back to the Airport.

I stayed with my child, and the room was spacious, the bathroom was spacious, the kitchen and washing machine were available, and it was close to the station, so it was very good! I thought it would be difficult to take a bath while standing, but there was a small bath chair, so I was able to get in easily. There was a washing machine, and clotheslines and hangers were also provided, so I didn't have to bring as much luggage. It was very convenient to be close to the station and have two nearest stations.Gangnam Station is close, and Myeong-dong Station is far away, but the transportation cost is cheap, so it was great! I will stay there when I go to Seoul again! Thank you.

We had a wonderful time here in Seoul. This place feels like you are staying in an old Korean village in the middle of the city. It’s a neat little home that was perfect for two adults and three kids. Donny was a terrific and arranged a taxi for when we went to the airport. Thanks for having us!!

This place was a good deal. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is close to the station and the park nearby was good. It had good places to eat nearby. I would stay here again.
