Holiday rentals in Domme

A great couple of nights stay in Romain's lovely Air BnB in beautiful gardens which surround it; overlooking their sheep grazing in the field. All great facilities with reflections of local character in the accommodation matching the photos. Lovely personal welcome and the flowers, jams, cold white wine in the fridge and freshly picked mushroom salad left for us on our return from our day out and book present from Romain's business when we left; all very much appreciated. Thank you. You even laid on four hot air ballons to pass in the evening visible from the house and terrace high above the valley...very entertaining!! Thank you for a great stay. Just loved this place. The house is beautiful and spacious with a good balance between antique French with modern amenities. Plenty of space for the family and the host was generous with some delicious gifts upon our arrival. Easy check-in/out. Great location to explore the town. Great for families. Great for couples since there are plenty of bathrooms and space.

Absolutely beautiful house in a fantastic location. Larger than expected, and a really great private space for a family to relax in. The terrace and pool are ideal, exactly what we were after. Géraldine and Xavier are perfect hosts, really welcoming and very easy going. They also own some excellent restaurants in town, which I’d highly recommend. We’d love to return here one day.

What an idyllic, peaceful place to stay. Private but within walking distance of great restaurants - rarity when renting a villa. Property perfect location with fantastic views. Spacious and bedrooms, bathrooms lovely. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate for a holiday. There is little storage space in the kitchen so you need to be creative with where you put your food items! Things to note: There are no general food shops in Domme, nearest are in Cénac et St Julien - small supermarket and fantastic bakery and local farm shop. A lot of the restaurants are closed Tuesday/Wednesday so plan in advance. We were disturbed on one night by what my teenagers called a “rave” somewhere in the valley. Whilst under no control of the property owners, this party went on until 2 am, light sleepers might need ear plugs as another family has mentioned in a previous review! Or join the party! In conclusion, we cannot recommend this property highly enough and hope to return one day.

Séjour très agréable dans cette authentique et grande maison au cœur du village de Domme à deux pas du centre et de la vue sur la vallée de la Dordogne. La maison est bien équipée avec de grandes pièces. Le jardin avec sa terrasse est calme et apaisant. Il a été très agréable de pouvoir en profiter lors des repas. Pauline est une hôte très réactive et très sympathique.

Séjour exceptionnel dans une demeure encore plus splendide que les photos. Les hôtes sont accueillants, généreux, aux petits soins et très arrangeants ! Merci encore pour ce séjour et au plaisir de revenir

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!
