Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dolus-d'Oléron

Our stay went very well. The house is in line with the description and photos. The exteriors are very pleasant. The accommodation is well located close to the bike paths. The pool is a very big plus because the beaches are not just next door. Carine was responsive to our questions and flexible for our arrival. Go there with your eyes closed, I highly recommend it!!

The location of the accommodation is exceptional and offers a superb terrace with direct view of the beach, with La Rochelle, Ile de Ré and Fort Boyard in the distance. The accommodation is pleasant and functional.

This is a great place to stay in La Rochelle! The place is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. The location, in the historical part of La Rochelle, is close to everything : restaurants, grocery stores, shops and waterfront. Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

David-Paul's house is the ideal home base for exploring the whole island. It is very nice and decorated with a lot of taste. It can come right out of a booklet. All materials are quality and the bed has a particularly good mattress. It is also very cozy in the evenings. The garden is large enough to be able to crawl away in every corner with a good reading book and a bag of coffee or aperitif. A blissful place to stay. If we are back in the area, we will definitely come back here. It was not rented on our last day and were allowed to check out what time we wanted. Particularly thoughtful of David-Paul. A top stay. The layout of the villa is perfect for multi-generation family holidays with space to come together combined with distinct bedroom zones for added privacy. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The villa has off-street parking and the garage for safe storage of bicycles is a huge bonus. We had a great stay and give 5* rating.

Beautiful place located a short walk from the beach of Plaisance! A great sandy beach to enjoy pleasant moments! We found in Romain's house and his companion everything we expected: the calm of a large garden under the pine trees, a house in which we knew right away that our stay would be great, the characteristic smells of the seaside...!!! Finally, Romain is very responsive, attentive, and will be good advice to tell you where to treat! Really a great week, we will come back without a problem!!! Fantastic modern villa. Great kitchen. Beautiful outdoor space. Accessible to shops, restaurants and a fantastic market. Also very close to the beach We stayed as a family of eight and would love to return sometime in the future. The host Caroline and concierge Romain are super helpful and responsive. We loved Ile de Re - it is so beautiful.

A very beautiful place in front of the sea. A very beautiful family home, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We walked a lot, in the center of Fouras, accessible on foot. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.

Superb stay in a quiet and peaceful environment, beautiful, spacious, renovated and carefully decorated house. 6 very large bedrooms with very comfortable bedding. Perfectly suited to a large family like ours, there were 14 of us. Ideal outdoor space with pool at 26° and Chalet in the garden very well appointed with fire pit where we spent most of our meals. The house is ideally located in the immediate walking distance to Ronces les Bains Lionel is very friendly , available and flexible with check in and out times

We had a great time at Laurence's place. The house is light, everyone can isolate themselves if they wish. The wooded terrain is very pleasant, quietly located, the children enjoyed the swing and the space. We will be back with pleasure during a visit to the island.

We had a great time with the family at Anthony's house. It is very well equipped and the layout of the different rooms (sleeping area, dining area,etc.) allows you to share time together but also to have each their own space! The village center is within walking distance (there are all the essential shops there) and we rented bikes, which allowed us to visit the rest of the island on foot and go to the beach a few minutes by bike from the house. Finally, thank you to Justine from the concierge , who gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and was available despite our very early departure, not to mention her valuable advice on the good places on the island!
