Glamping getaway

KoriRating, 5 stars21 months ago
This is absolutely the best find in all of Colorado! The tent was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The view from the porch is incredible and extremely private. I loved the fire pit on the porch too, we used that every night. Bathrooms were spotless, which is such a pleasant surprise especially when camping or glamping of any kind. Overall an absolutely breathtaking spot where many special memories were made, and we will definitely be back!

Aspen Flats Treehouse

This is a very well-appointed campsite with extraordinary comfort amenities built in. It is one of the most affordable options in the area. Customers need to know it is camping and the site is up in the woods, requiring ability to climb a short, but steep, hill.

Dolores River Valley Luxury RV, Scenic Serenity

DoreRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Having been fruit Dolores on a number of occasions, this would be the first time that I had actually stayed in the Dolores river valley, what a treat. The grounds at Jim and Lisa's were amazing! So much green grass shaded by beautiful cottonwoods. A small fruit orchard was in bloom right in front of where I stayed. You could hear the Dolores river in the mix of birds songs. Jim and Lisa, we're perfect hosts. They explained everything I needed to know about staying in the R. V.. They had put together a very clear binder with pictures, which I could refer to as needed. I found this very helpful. I was very happy staying in the RV for the five days. It was so cozy, and I mean in a good way, I could have retired there. There was plenty to do in and around the Dolores area. I had brought my mountain bike and Jim, being a fellow mountain biker, recommended some trails that he rides regularly. I also enjoyed running on the trails up the valley. I would like to come back here next year.

Direct Hiking Access: Riverfront Dolores Home!

MarieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an incredible place. I could stand in this kitchen for the rest of my life, looking out over the elk in the fields. House was incredibly well stocked, had everything we could have needed. So helpful when the closest store is a bit of a drive. We loved it. We will definitely be back.

Jordan's place was great. Rico was a quaint little town and was a good midway point while on the road. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Serene Dolores Cabin w/ Patio & River Access!

Shelia And BrianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Not sure where to start, but check-in was easy, host was great and responsive (we never had any questions, but appreciate that they checked in with us), the space was immaculate, lots of little “extras”, beautiful scenery (so quite, too), the river view outside the kitchen window was awesome and I loved spending time near river on their provided chairs. There’s something about the sound of rushing water that is very relaxing to me! The little grocery store in town is great, try the homemade pastries by the register, they are delicious, and you have to go to Lost Fox coffee, too. We grilled one evening, and didn’t lack for ANYTHING. Our first kids had a blast, too!
