Serenity on the Blue Ridge Parkway

It's Summer in the mountains and it's not so HOT! We are just steps to the Blue Ridge Parkway, minutes to Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park, New River State Park, and at the edge of the Yadkin Valley Wine District. The list of activities are endless including sitting on the deck or by the fire pit watching the view go by. That view has been said to be The best view in the Blue Ridge. This spacious 2400 sq ft home is yours while you play in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

House by the River

Guest suite is the entire front portion (approx 1000 sq ft) of our home. There are no shared interior spaces. Guest suite consists of 2 large bedrooms, living room, foyer, and large bathroom. Both bedrooms have large closets, TV, and new mattresses in 2024. Dedicated workspace and electric fireplace in front bedroom. Large living room with (non operational) fireplace and large TV. All 3 Tvs with Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc and high speed wifi. Large foyer with microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig.

Hampton House and Farm. Enjoy the country!

A 1937 farmhouse completely renovated and updated in 2020 provides a great get-a-way to the country. Spend some time watching the cows that call this 10-acre farm home. The house has 2 bedrooms with walk-in closets, 2 bathrooms, laundry area, kitchen, dining area, large living room, enclosed porch, and attic space with two twin beds. There is a single carport and circle driveway . The property is conveniently located near Mitchell River, hiking trails, vineyards, and only 3 miles from I-77.

Ready for a romantic weekend getaway? Or just a break to get away to the country? This beautiful log cabin situated in a vineyard in the heart of the Yadkin Valley wine country. Our tasting room is situated on the other side of the vineyard where you can taste our wines made from the grapes we grow in our own vineyard. We are located close to several wineries in the local area. Other local Attractions include Rockford General Store, Pilot Mountain. Mt Airy or hiking at numerous parks.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mounatians.. Peaceful country setting without a lot of noise, maybe a cow or two. It has a view of Skull Camp mountain and you can swing on the front porch. Conviently located close to Raven Knob Scout Camp. Close to a stocked trout river, Fisher River. Located within minutes of I-77 and I-74. Local attractions include Mayberry, RFD and Pilot Mountain. Located 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway also.

The "Midnight Moon" Cabin, State Road NC

Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax by the fire or enjoy checkers on the porch, just soak it all in.

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

Whip-O-Will Cabin: Secluded Log Cabin Treehouse

Enjoy a secluded stay in our one of a kind, luxurious log cabin treehouse. The treehouse offers 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom on the main floor with a rock shower and the loft bedroom with a half bath. The treehouse has a full wrap around porch with jacuzzi tub overlooking a spring branch and fire pit. Enjoy the outdoor shower with a 16” rainfall shower head under the treehouse next to the spring branch. Our gravel road welcomes you to a cozy home in the trees.
