Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Washington

We had a wonderful stay here in May! Our accommodations and stay at this home absolutely made our trip to DC. First, the location - it is close to everything that is happening in Logan Circle but also one block away on a very peaceful and quiet street. It was easy to walk 20-25 minutes to the White House, 15 minutes to Dupont Circle, etc. It also felt very safe! Second the home itself - it was so cool! Thoughtfully decorated with lots of fun but also very practical items. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - great beds, shampoo, full kitchen (thoughtfully stocked with sugar packets, coffee, etc), plenty of extra blankets and towels, and so on. It was even cooler than it looked in the pictures! Finally, the hosts were excellent. Very communicative prior to and during our stay and they sent over a very helpful local guide that we leaned heavily on. Overall an excellent stay and we hope we have another chance to come here again!

Janesh was a fantastic host. We stayed for 8 days and they brought over extra towels mid -week. They accommodated our checkin and checkout times. They had everything we needed including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and even shampoo! excellent home and excellent host!

Very happy with our stay. Three adults - one son moving into grad school from cross-country - and we were all comfortable. We had a parking space, two bathrooms, and room to relax at the end of long days. Close to groceries and restaurants. This is an old but charming home, be prepared for stairs, some squeaks etc. that come with an old home in a humid place, but air conditioning, wifi, showers, laundry machines worked perfectly, home decor fun and comfortable, pretty plants abound, lovely light and views, and quiet at night. Communication from owners excellent along the way to tweak the use of their alarm system or fix a sticky door. Finally, I noted their use of recyclable goods like plastic and paper. Much appreciated!

Die Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel nur 15 Minuten entfernt vom Capitol. Sie ist gut ausgestattet und eignet sich gut für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Barbara ist eine aufmerksame, sympathische Gastgeberin. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

We had a very pleasant five day stay at Esther’s White House. The property was immaculate every way and had everything that you would require to make for a worry free stay. Esther made sure we felt welcome and her level of communication was just right. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

From the moment we arrived at Trish and Jason's, we felt right at home. Jason greeted us upon arrival, showed us the space, and explained everything thoroughly. Their home is beautiful, equipped with everything you'll need during your stay. They've really thought of all the little things! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We LOVED the location, only a 10 minutes walk to the zoo and the metro station. We attended the Heart concert at Wolf Trap, an easy 25 minute car ride away. Communication was effortless and we always felt they were easy to reach. Traveling with a 4 month old can be strenuous, but landing at Trish and Jason's was the home-away-from-home we were looking for. We will absolutely be back!

Fantastic host. Very responsive. House is fantastic. Stayed with my mother & daughter for the weekend. All of the bedrooms were clean and as described. Towels provided. Pillows were comfy :) House looks like the pics. Very clean and updated. No issues getting in/out. With 3 of us staying at the house, made it easy. We are able to use the kitchen, cable/chromecast and also the washing machine. Looking forward to coming back to DC for another trip when the Mets are in town and will 100% try to book. Beautiful park-like setting that’s near the red line and the Connecticut Ave corridor, but is super quiet at night! Natasha is so sweet and caring - it’s a unique stay for sure!

Great stay in a very convenient part of DC. easy access to the metro, and a kitchen with just a bit more than the basics. Hosts were very helpful, and any issues were resolved swiftly.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming. It’s located just minutes from the Capitol, making it a perfect base for exploring D.C. There are also a few nice restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, convenient spot close to the city’s main attractions!

My partner and I took our girls to the Warped Tour. The location is perfect. After a long day at the music festival it was nice to come back to this quiet neighborhood and relax.

Wonderful stay! Elizabeth was quick to answer questions and made sure we had a great stay. Lovely place, had everything we needed and more. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer since we had been traveling for so long. Elizabeth even had a washing machine pod for us. Would definitely stay again!

Quaint basement studio with ample space and very roomy. Can comfortably sleep 2-3 adults. The most beautiful backyard. Has all the amenities.

Graham’s place was just as described, the couch bed was comfy and the three of us watched the NBA finals together on it. Bathroom was clean and had tp and plenty of towels (they are in the bedroom closet). Shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer included. Water purifier in the fridge. There’s no stove so you can’t cook but there’s an air fryer and microwave. We ordered take out and noticed there wasn’t any silverware and Graham tried really hard to get us some. I only mention it in case someone rents there soon and might be surprised. Just get some plastic ware and you’ll be fine. Bed is comfy, plenty of linens and pillows. Only window that is not covered is the door but it didn’t bother us since you’re down a few steps in the basement. The only thing we didn’t like is the upstairs neighbors walk very loud on their wooden floors. Nothing you can do about that, just something we noticed. And they weren’t up super early. I would rent again. And a good Thai place less than half a mile away!

This place was perfect for my short stay in DC! The apartment was spotless and decorated beautifully. I appreciated the clear check-in instructions and quick responses from the hosts whenever I had a question. The stocked fridge was also a nice touch that I appreciated after a long drive! Would definitely recommend.
