Bygda er omgitt av et eventyrlig landskap - Raftsundet med sine majestetiske tinder, og den sagnomsuste Trollfjorden. Dagligvarebutikk er i gangavstand fra huset. Sjøen ligger fem minutter unna til fots. I tillegg har man flotte muligheter for fjellturer rett utenfor døra.
