Peaceful & luxury Country Living

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family had a great time. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace was so cozy and the scenery was beautiful. The location is a good distance between Hobart and Huonville, perfect to see all that the area has to offer.

Maydena Views

We had a great stay in Maydeena. The house was beautiful, and well set up, with a nice large wood fire. A great place to stay for exploring the surrounding national parks.

Great location for visiting Mt Field National Park. House was good with stunning view over forests. Sondra was really generous, with extra groceries in pantry. We were very comfortable. Would love to stay again

Brookside - fully updated 1950's home in Maydena

Jane's house was perfect for the four of us visiting for a weekend at the Maydena bike park. Good facilities to secure the bikes overnight. Plenty of room and nice and clean. The fireplace was cosy in the evenings. Thanks Jane!

Trails End House Maydena

BenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Convenient location for the Maydena Bike Park, the house certainly had everything we needed for a cosy weekend. Beds were comfortable, hosts were very responsive, the fire place was a hit and the kitchen was well equipped. The house itself is a bit of a strange layout without internal stairs and given the wet weather during our stay it was a bit awkward to move between the bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen downstairs, but in drier months it wouldn’t be a problem. Overall we had a great stay, thank you so much!

Fresh Ayre Farm

SamanthaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had the most amazing month staying at Ian’s property. We have 2 kids ages 3 and 10 months old when I mentioned we needed a few things for our baby he was quick to jump and say we can supply that, saves you travelling with it. It felt like home and was so peaceful (being country people ourselves) I cannot fault anything with this beautiful little home and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a “farm stay”. We will be back one day in the near future. Thanks again Ian for everything.

South Crescent @ Maydena

Love staying at Sharni’s place. It’s cosy and so quiet. Very convenient and the wood heater was perfect to warm up after a days riding in the rain. It’s got a home away from home feel. Sharni is very responsive and helpful.

River Front Estate

We loved our two nights in Huonville. The row boat and canoe were a highlight, as well as the wooden boat centre in Franklin. We had a great meal at the Lost Captain at the end of the road too! Wonderful old world charm in the cottage.
