Pros -Hidden gem in nature -Awesome food, Kanu ji can compete in master chef -Kanu ji and his family were so welcoming and friendly took really really good care of us -So get to experience actual pahadi tradition which is not blemished by anything -You can’t go to elsewhere, you are really just in a place(Can be con too depending on your preferences) Con -The trek path is not for everyone especially at night it can be risky. Was strenuous for my parents(who are senior citizens). I would ideally deduct 0.5 star for this, but because of hospitality, food and such a nice location went with full 5 stars :)

Hello, 1) To start with, the location was absolutely perfect, with the stream of river flowing in front of you and the range of mountains all across, you can actually connect with the nature and have a peaceful stay. 2) Our checkin was very smooth and our host/ caretaker Durga Das was very welcoming. We had arrived early at around 8am and he made sure we were given a temporary place to have rest and give us some refreshments as it was a long journey from bus from delhi. 3) The cabin was exactly as in the pictures, starting from the elegant design and comforting bed and splendid jacuzzi. We enjoyed every bit of it. 4)The food was very much homely and fresh. Aleram and Durga ji made sure we were given the best of everything. 5) The only setback we faced was that the place was a little distant (around half hr drive) from shangarh and sainj so if we wanted to go either of the places to enjoy or eat in a cafe we had to take a cab. So its better to bring your own vehicle.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a staycation at this beautiful property, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, always greeting us with a smile and attending to every little detail with genuine care. The property itself is a hidden gem — tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. Special thanks to the hosts (Pratish, Negi ji and his family) for their thoughtful touches — from the welcome basket to the personalized recommendations for local spots and activities. Clean, homely, has all facilities considering the remote location. Food is yummy and wholesome. Neety and Sachin are cheerful and welcoming, you will have the most comfortable stay. Chehni Kothi itself is a quaint and beautiful village overlooking Jibhi and Tirthan valley. No problem with mobile network. 綺麗で静かなとこ。ゆっくりくつろげだ！

It was really amazing experience, I went with my friends and it was a soothing and calming experience away from the city crowd n hustle bustle. The staff is so friendly and sweet, they even came us to pick and guided us at every step and went above and beyond to help us explore the beautiful and less explored valley. Thank you again for the experience Mr. Negi ji & extremely helpful staff ( especially the cook). Loved the experience and will come again soon ♥️

Saloni’s place is tucked away in a quaint village in Sainj Valley, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and untouched nature. The house is a beautifully restored Himachali home. It is warm and full of character, clearly built with love over the years. One of my favorite things to do was lounging on the hammock in the garden, reading, surrounded by flowers and greenery. Life moves at a different pace here - slow, quiet, and peaceful. The home cooked meals were fresh and delicious every single day. And the dogs, penny and chandler, were the sweetest! Saloni is a wonderful host. She’s kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations for nearby places to explore. She’s created a space that has good vibes and feels welcoming. Also, a shoutout to Pragati, the volunteer during my stay. She kept the energy up with her fun banter and stories. If you’re looking to escape the fast paced city life and slow down, this is the place for you.
