Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Del Norte County

Enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend. Crescent City itself is pretty much a two night town. Good Harvest Cafe for breakfast, and Sea Quake Brewery for very good bar food and good selection of brews. Everyone we experienced were very nice and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was just as described in the listing. We had everything we needed and more! Including beach towels, cooler, beach blanket, first aid kit and wine! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with spices, coffee, oils, blender and any type of equipment or utensils you may need. The back deck, furnishings and garden were beautiful. The location is great. it was nice to be able to walk to the beach, and its close to everything in town. Was not always able to stream our NetFlix as there were sometimes delays, but otherwise the wifi worked well. Joyce is a great host and was very responsive to anything we needed. The instructions and manual were very helpful. We would definitely recommend this home!

We enjoyed the peacefulness of this home and neighborhood. The primary bedroom is on the other side of the house from the other 2 bedrooms, giving some appreciated privacy. It was a great home base for visiting Jedidiah Smith and Prairie Creek state parks, and lots of other interesting places. We watched some sweet sunsets at the nearby rocky beaches, and our favorite meal out was at Kin Khao Thai Eatery in Crescent City.

Marshawn's place had some really cool features. My kids loved the bunk bed room with the Pacman, and the record player and pellet stove were fun to have. Note that this is right on the HWY so the car traffic noise is noticeable, but overall our stay was very comfortable!

Beautiful location overlooking the beach and ocean, with a covered outdoor space that is wonderful for watching nature in action. Bring binoculars to look for whales. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and kitchen tools, and the house has an extensive collection of vinyl records. Overall a very comfortable place to hang out for a while and take in the sea and air.

We only stayed one night but wished when we walked in that we were staying for a week. Not just clutter free and full of helpful amenities, but also filled with lovely art and furniture that made it feel like home. Very comfortable beds and furniture and showers, and a short walk to the beach. Private quiet house with a garage. We will be back!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay on our visit to Crescent City. The house was very clean and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there are ocean views from all the front windows. I loved her decorations too! We loved the beach access across the street and the easy drive to the redwoods. Lori was so friendly and easy to communicate with. I would definitely love to stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful house at a wonderful location on the Smith river. Modern, new and very clean, close to the amazing old growth coastal redwood forests. Well stocked with everything needed for a nice stay. Accidentally great place I would definitely recommend this place, it’s one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at.

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

Cute little space to stay, really close walk to the beach! Kid friendly, my son had a great time. Comfy beds and cute little kitchen. Perfect for a little weekend getaway.

I loved staying here! It was so beautiful and comfortable:) everything I needed was nearby and I loved getting the beach to myself early in the morning for a stroll.
