I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out super easy. Amazing apartment. It truly made our stay special. The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and we loved waking up to it every day. The place is beautifully furnished, super clean, and thoughtfully maintained. It had everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to other modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect too, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and other essentials just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Undoubtedly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. The place was stylish, gets lots of light, and is super quiet and peaceful at night. The area is a little outside of the main part of colombo but you can easily get an uber into the centre for just 500rs, and the benefit is that you’re in a nice leafy suburb with some great local restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be staying again!

The house was very neat and clean. It had necessary cooking elements also. The most beautiful thing was the sea view just exactly as the picture which you can enjoy just by sitting on the bed. The area had also lots of local veg non veg restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at rika's place.

The apartment of Prad is a wonderful place with the most stunning view on the lotus tower you can imagine. Additionally, the free to use roof top pool is an outstanding experience. An another good point is that a supermarket is right infront of the door. Prad was always available and a great host. Next time in Colombo, we will definitely book again. Thank you so much Prad!

Unser Heim in Colombo! Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und modern. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse. Jo spricht, was in Sri Lanka nicht die Regel ist, ausgezeichnet Englisch. Sie und ihre Familie haben sich sehr um uns und unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Aufnahme war sehr familiär und herzlich. Ihr Angebot, dass wir uns bei etwaigen problematischen Situationen während unseres Sri Lanka Aufhalst telefonisch an sie um Hilfe wenden können, ist uns eine sehr gute Beruhigung. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben! Das Haus ist günstig gelegen, Restaurants, Supermarkt und Busstation in Laufnähe. Mit den Bussen ist man direkt sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und am Bahnhof. Wir vergeben vollen Herzens 5 Sterne plus 5 Extrasterne für die Gastfreundchaft.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

The place was fantastic, and I personally loved it. We were greeted with delicious coffee upon arrival. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

I can't recommend this Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The house was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. It had a welcoming, tradition feel – exactly what you want when staying in a new city. The location is perfect – central, safe, and close to everything. Whether you're looking to explore Colombo’s cultural sites, enjoy local restaurants, or just relax, this place puts you in the perfect spot. The host was fantastic – super responsive, friendly, and she went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. Bonus points for the fast Wi-Fi, great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed, and fully equipped kitchen - it felt like a home away from home. If you're thinking about booking, do it - this place is a rare find and an incredible value. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Colombo!

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kanishka airbnb. The location was fantastic with easy rides with PickMe. Kanishka was very responsive and easily sorted out any minor issues that came up. Would love to stay here again in the future

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. The space was spotless and well maintained, with a modern, clean aesthetic and beautiful flooring that added a cozy touch. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed. On top of that, the host (Heshan) was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. Der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung war rundum super! Die Lage ist ideal – in nur 2–3 Gehminuten ist man am Strand, und in die andere Richtung gelangt man schnell in die Stadt. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind alle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Zug hält direkt vor der Haustür, und mit Uber ist man in weniger als 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Die Wohnung selbst ist ruhig, besonders nachts, was für erholsamen Schlaf sorgt. Der Check-in verlief völlig reibungslos, und die Kommunikation mit Shiffan war jederzeit einfach und angenehm. Ein echtes Highlight war der Balkon – abends dort zu sitzen und aufs Wasser zu blicken, war purer Luxus. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Stayed with 2 other people. Tamara was a great host. She was very helpful and communicative. She was particularly helpful as we navigated our airport cab driver who needed additional directions. You get what you see in the photos on the listing. A note for people with big bags or luggage: you will have to use stairs to get to the rooms (one room is on the 2nd floor along with the kitchen and dining, and the other two are on the 3rd) The rooms had towels and linens, comfy beds, although could do with a bit more dusting prior to people checking in. Tamara left bottled water for us in the fridge as well, which we appreciated. You will have all the basic necessities. While it's not a major issue, we were surprised by the open holes in the bathroom showers. They are high enough to give you privacy, but open out into the side of the building with no screen or cover. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a safe place to sleep and leave your things, as you explore Colombo.

Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. It was an absolute please to be at the Hope Residence for our short visit to Colombo. We would certainly stay here again, if the need arises. Thanks Tusitha for your warm hospitality.

The location of property is absolutely amazing. Easily accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The apartment I stayed in was fully furnished with all amenities including all kitchenware, towels and toiletries. The space is cooled very well with the bedroom and living space each having its own AC unit. The caretaker greeted kindly and guided me to the room, which had it's Air Conditioning turned on before I even entered. Didn't have to walk in to a warm damp room! He even took care of my laundry. Overall my experience staying here was amazing. The hosts son who manages the property is very welcoming and communicated well throughout my stay. Definitely a hidden gem in Colombo.

Ahmed and Shaira were very helpful and accomodating. The place was lovely, the view from the rooftop pool is awesome, and the place is in a fantastic location. Security was also top notch.
