The Summer Guesthouse in Darwin was everything we were hoping for from our three-night stay between Kakadu and the Kimberley. The location was really convenient, very close to the major Casuarina shopping centre and an easy 15-20 minute drive to the major attractions of Mindil Beach and the Waterfront area. The house itself was spotlessly clean, well appointed and extras like Netflix, beautiful swimming pool, and a tranquil Bali-resort style undercover upstairs deck. Eva is a gracious host - welcoming and easily contactable but equally respectful of guests privacy too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and finished our stay having recharged, relaxed and restocked ready for the next leg of our big NT adventure!

I recently stayed at Matthew’s place with a group of friends for a holiday in Darwin. Matthew’s place was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful experience for our group. It was exactly as described in the listing, and was a fantastic place for a group to enjoy sunny Darwin. The house is very spacious, full of amenities and had a lovely outdoor area also. Matthew was very quick to respond whenever we had a query and the check in and check out process was simple and exactly as described. We never once had any issue with the house and would recommend it to anyone staying in Darwin.

Amazing location with beautiful sunsets! Watch the sun go down from the patio or join the locals and have drinks and nibblies on the grassed public area in front of villa. Bike paths make it easy to access Military Museum, Museum & Art Gallery, Mindel Beach markets, sunset at Ski Club, Casino and all the city sights. We hired electric bikes for the week from Phil at Bicycle Fix. Great restaurants within walking distance. The Villa was well appointed with absolutely everything you need for your stay and many surprise items that are not found at other homes (ie. fishing rods, kayaks, staple pantry and laundry items). Thanks for the special local gifts. Comfortable beds and relaxed furniture. Perfect for our annual adult family holiday (8 adults) with plenty of different areas to come together or have your own space. Thanks for sharing your home with us Justine and making our holiday in Darwin memorable. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Very nice place to stay. Close to town, retaurants and other services. The place was clean although we were unable to locate a broom.

Wonderful place to stay, welcoming and comfortable. Host was great with her communication and answered all my questions quickly. The townhouse was central to my needs and made my stay in Darwin with my dogs stress free. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Darwin.

Conveniently located to Mindil Beach Darwin and Prap. We were aware may not be able to park in the car space (no issue) but the car parked it the space made it difficult to get our bags to the front door. Otherwise no issues clean tidy comfortable well priced. Recommend it.

The apartment was very thoughtfully set up with extras that you really need when traveling lightly. Soft esky, beach towels, yoga mat, picnic gear and t pot made a big difference. The space is light and airy and balcony a great place to sit with lovely views and breeze.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful apartment. The space was incredibly spacious and offered an amazing view of the harbour — a real highlight, especially at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen and bathrooms were great, making it feel like a luxury home away from home. The location was also fantastic, with great coffee shops just around the corner and a short walk to many of the city’s key attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely return!

Angela was a great host and her place was perfect in every way. Beautiful, relaxing, quiet and very comfortable with a great combination of space to share and privacy for our group that included a couple and 2 separate friends. Everything you need in a well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook plus an easy walk to either Coles or Woolworths for stocking up. Very close to all tour company pickup points. We arrived at Darwin airport late, wet, and tired. Novotel was too expensive, so I tried my luck on air bnb. Within 25 mins of booking, Stella had accepted, and called to assist with checking in. The sub penthouse is huge, and everything you need is there. Excess and doubles of almost everything. The unit was clean, tidy and comfortable. The wifi was not great, so preload the kids devices if needed. Stella checked in multiple times during my stay to offer suggestions for best cafes, and places to visit. a few minor issues, but sorted immediately. It was like staying at a friend’s place, where you are always welcome. If you are after a large space for the whole family, this is it. I had babies through to young adults, and everyone was catered for. The pool at the Mantra is beautiful, and the cafe downstairs is perfect for an early morning coffee. Thank you, Stella, for providing us with a home during a difficult relocation.

Loved our 2 week stay! Very toddler-friendly with a safe balcony, pram, high chair, pool noodles, books and kid-friendly plates/bowls/cutlery. Plenty of room for a family of 3. Location was perfect - away from the noise but a quick walk to all the action. Photos very accurate. Place was spotless. Instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear. 2x allocated underground carparks were very secure. Lots of cleaning supplies, tea, coffee pods, nespresso pod machine, toiletries, extra bedding, and even a number of large umbrellas that were so handy during the wet season! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

David's place was a perfect base for our long weekend in Darwin. Loved the bread, milk etc on arrival; lovely clean sheets and towels; aircon, fans, laundry facilities. It all made for a lovely, comfy stay. We could walk into town easily, and down to the waterfront. David was fantastic with communication and flexible with check out times etc. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

My stay at Lauren's home was thoroughly enjoyable. An excellent location that is a short walk to shops, cafe, restaurants and the beautiful Fannie Bay waterfront. I'm already hoping this beautiful home is available for my next visit to Darwin.

We had a fantastic stay at this Darwin CBD apartment! The location is perfect — just a stone’s throw away from fishing wharfs and jetties, and within easy driving distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Despite being in the heart of the city, the apartment is tucked away on a quiet street, giving us peaceful, restful nights. One of our favourite features was the spacious balcony with a lovely sea view and refreshing breeze — we found ourselves spending a lot of time there, especially in the mornings. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen and generous cooking space made it easy for us to prepare our own breakfasts and dinners. Parking was also hassle-free with convenient car park access. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and made our Darwin trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Ben is a great host. My son had a nose bleed a couple nights and while I tried my best to wash out the stains, I communicated the issue and he was very understanding. I replaced the linen - Ben was very professional in the matter - took photos of everything affected and laid out the price. The location is great, close to everything! We enjoyed the markets whilst on a medical trip from remote community. He’s got some Tupperware for the kids and some camp chairs if you need them- with two bathrooms! And a coffee pod machine. We are grateful for Ben, his understanding and thoughtfulness.

Location of the property was ideal, having all the eateries a plus, the Lagoon and Wave Pool close by, as well as the Wharf Precinct. Would like to see a cleaner balcony for our next visit. Overall the accommodation was lovely, if it wasn't for the 4pm check in time we would have rated our experience 4 1/2 stars.

Hi Kerri-Ann Thank you for your kind hospitality. The bacon, eggs, milk, butter and bread were a really nice touch! After a long flight we were really grateful that we had something for breakfast the next day without having to leave the unit ! We loved the unit and will definitely stay again.
