Cottage holiday rentals in Dartmouth

Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

Emma and her family were lovely and welcoming. She was available whenever we needed something and was very approachable. Her home is nice, private and spacious, the kitchen although we knew it was small was a little hard to work in especially with little ones. The rooms all had en-suites which was extremely useful when younger ones needed to use the toilet at the same time. Downside was only one shower/ bath could be used at a time due to water pressure. She told us this upon arrival and we just worked around it. The garden is beautiful, children really enjoyed they’re time as plenty of space to run around. Loved the white bedding and soft furnishings as it always helps make a place feel clean and fresh.

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

We had an absolutely wonderful few days in Chris and Kate's beautiful cottage. The bed was nice and comfy and we had all the facilities we could need. The hot tub was spotlessly clean, as was the cottage as a whole. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly recommend a stay in this charming cottage.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

James was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond with helping us with parking. The location is just amazing , the beautiful harbour right on your door step! The property you couldn't ask for anymore it was simply perfect 10/10 and will definitely be returning ☺️

The Nook was a lovely cottage right in the centre of town close to all amenities, it was also quiet, the cottage had everything in it that you could wish for and the thought that has gone into it is exceptional especially regarding dogs. We were so grateful that Tania was able to accommodate us at very short notice. We will definitely be returning

We really enjoyed our stay at Smugglers Cottage. The location was fantastic - quiet but a really short stroll into the harbour and all the bars and restaurants. The parking spot was really useful. The cottage was really clean and well equipped with everything we needed, plus a few thoughtful extras left for us. Absolutely loved the roof terrace - a real sun trap. Such an enjoyable stay!

We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting family. The property was exactly how Duncan described it. It’s a beautiful property in the heart of the countryside but not too far from major attractions, an ideal base for hectic days out and then coming back to relax in such a wonderful property. The property is pet friendly with a lovely outside enclosed garden for your pet and for relaxing with a drink in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Right from the outset Duncan and Nikki were extremely friendly and were at hand for anything we needed if required plus keeping us informed of everything we needed to know. We had a wonderful break at the “The Old Hayloft” and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely perfect stay! Having first stayed here in 2019 we returned and have just spent three nights at this beautiful rural Airbnb and couldn’t have asked for more. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long coastal walks. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed, and the garden was a peaceful spot to relax. We loved the walks to Hope Cove and also did a fantastic 10km hike along the coast to Salcombe. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. Gill made the whole experience extremely easy and peaceful. The house was well equipped. It was lovely to receive a welcome pack. Wish we could stay longer. We highly recommend it.

Veronica was a great host, good communication and helpful with information before and during our stay. The cottage was as advertised and was perfect for the 3 of us. Location was less than 10 minutes to Brixham and the cottage was in a quiet location.

We stayed for a long weekend, and had friends join us for the first night. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is in a lovely spot, and really quiet. Instructions accurate and detailed. The kitchen was well appointed and two fridges a really useful touch. If you plan to use the BBQ you will need to bring charcoal - the local Asda had very limited option, so we recommend planning ahead! We made the most of being on the south west coast path on our second day, walking all the way to Salcombe…. The trek back up the hill was a little more intense than we hoped, but a great location. We would have happily stayed a few more days!

What a wonderful little home. Perfect for our family of 4 (9yo & 4yo - at the time of writing anyway!). A charming upstairs apartment (grd floor entry) with everything we needed after the kids wiled away their time at the local activity farm, the beach or crab fishing in very local Dartmouth. Really loved where this was positioned. Would recommend and would certainly return should fate favour us. Sorry we forgot to fill in the guestbook! We were hoping to draw you a lovely picture to add to your guest collection!

The house was simply beautifully located in the middle of nature. Everything was very well maintained and we felt at home. We were particularly pleased with the breakfast surprise in the refrigerator. We will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic stay, with our 3 children, in this lovely cottage. It is a beautiful part of the country and the sea views from the garden & balcony are stunning. Steph messaged us beforehand with details of local events and was responsive to messages. The cottage was well equipped for a family, with a stair gate and highchair. Would highly recommend, we’d love to return!

Really nice cottage with a fantastic view of the river. The kitchen was really well equipped. Kingswear is a fantastic base for seeing the area: Dartmouth is only 10 minutes away by ferry, and you don't have the hassle of driving around South Hams. Would definitely recommend

Super location, quiet and peaceful without interruption, clean and well equipped property which is exactly what we were looking for and made our stay easy. The space was perfect for ourselves and new baby. Victoria provided some baby essentials which made our life much easier for packing. Communication was super quick and really helpful. Lovely gardens in May, so picturesque and views across the valley were stunning.

What a wonderful host Gill is and such a beautiful and immaculate cottage the Milking Parlour is. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space was perfect for the dog. We only stayed two nights but could have comfortably stayed longer. Fantastic stay x

Rose Cottage was perfect for 2 over Christmas. It was a great location for us with our family literally around the corner. Very warm & cosy. I actually turned the heating down as it was too hot. Really appreciated the constant hot water & very comfy beds sheets & towels. The parking permit was a bonus. We will definitely re book really felt it was a little bolt hole for us.

This air BnB was perfect, location is within walking distance to the harbour and plenty of options for food. The house was clean and very modern. Would definitely recommend staying here.
