Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Danyang-gun

We stayed at Doyoung’s hanok in Bukchon Village for 10 days after two weeks of travel, hoping for a home-like atmosphere where we could cook and reset. While the hanok was beautiful and well-located, the kitchen was missing a few essentials and there were no instructions for how to use appliances—all of which were labeled in Korean. Once we reached out, Doyoung went above and beyond to make things right. He responded incredibly quickly, brought us pastries and flowers to brighten our stay, and even created a neatly designed instruction booklet with photos—impeccably done and completed so fast, we honestly hope he didn’t stay up all night making it! Bukchon Village is a wonderful area—central, walkable, and full of charm. And Doyoung is truly one of the kindest, most responsive hosts we’ve ever had. Despite the initial hiccups, we left feeling incredibly well cared for. Thank you, Doyoung!

Build’s place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! We enjoyed the historic hanok with modern amenities (even Dyson hair dryer!). Yule was very helpful and friendly and responded to all of our questions quickly. He arranged for our return van to the airport. We would highly recommend Nuile’s Airbnb! Thank you Nuile!

Jinsoon is a great host and likes meeting new people, she loves to be proactive and take you out for breakfast or make you a special ‘Jinsoon style’ meal at home, served on the small patio area. She is a keen wine and anything with bubbles enthusiast! The apartment is ‘shabby sheik’ and spacious with an unusual high ceiling. It’s very quiet and private, situated behind other dwellings, up from the road. There are three different regular buses which will take you into Seoul 10mins The bus stop is 1 min walk from the apartment. The area is great to start the City Wall walk 18.5km (lots of steep walkways/stairs) recommend to do over 3 days if you wanted to complete the circuit of Seoul. Would highly recommend going to Sokcho for the National Park, Express bus from Seoul Express bus terminal, journey takes 2.5/3hrs I’d recommend a 3 day stay to walk and hike in the Seoraksan beautiful national park. The apartment is easy to walk from for the many cafes and homely restaurants in the town.

great place and great host. host was kind enough to let us move our luggage earlier. instructions to check in was very easy, no hassle. the view in the apartment and at the roof is very nice. location has a steep uphill, but it was never an issue since taxis will come all the way to the door to pickup/dropoff

Overall, it's pretty and clean, and the owner is kind. You can buy things that I forgot to prepare there. The air conditioning and heating were all good. The sensor light turned on and off repeatedly at dawn...... Come to think about what was because the glass was glass and reflected. Other than that, I'm very satisfied overall

The surroundings may be old, but the interior is a really cozy and comfortable accommodation. It was a humid day, but when I first entered, the dehumidifier, air conditioner, and boiler were turned on, so it was really pleasant. It was a part where I felt how thoughtful the host was. Parking was not difficult in the nearby alley, and although I didn't cook on this trip, I think it would be nice to cook because it has most of the tableware and cooking utensils. Personally, I sleep well in the dark, so it was a little disappointing that the bedroom didn't have blackout curtains, but I slept well. :) I had coffee in the morning, and it was delicious and very fresh coffee that was well-brewed. The host was very considerate during the reservation process, so it was a really comfortable trip. I'd love to go back if I find myself in Wonju again.

A truly unique and special home. Beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and full of charm. The location is excellent, with plenty of cafes, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed gathering as a group in the spacious and thoughtfully designed main living areas. Our host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a traditional yet modern hanok-style experience, this home should absolutely be on your bucket list. Highly recommended!

There was plenty of parking and rest space, and the content was diverse.

I went with my big family, and it was so great!! The landscape was also great, so adults liked it:) There are many rooms, so it's good for several families to go together!!

It was an older pension, but I loved the cleanliness that I felt as soon as I entered. The bedding was in good condition and the bathroom was clean! And the reviews said that the owners were friendly, but they were really kind:) He also checked the requests right away and gave us feedback ~ I also liked the mountain view from the room, so I thought it would be nice to come back around spring and have a barbecue outside. The owner's wife also uses a hat at Santa Claus because it's Christmas. Anyway, I'm having a nice day thanks to you:)

the apartment is in a calm neighborhood. It has everything you need and a very nice roof top! we could walk up to the radio tower and also down the hill is a nice area. to take a Uber, we just got up a few stairs, to the upper road, instead of going down the hill. thanks again

Since it is a wooden building, there is a part where the kitchen floor is a little sagging, but it is natural aging, and it is a house designed for families who dream of a happy life with their children. It's still a good space that's well-maintained in detail.

I liked that the host gave quick feedback on my inquiry, and that the space was quiet, so I was able to use it late for a long time.

The accommodation is very clean, and the host is kind. They prepared breakfast, and it was more delicious than most brunch cafes.

Allowed us to check-in early so we could start skiing in the morning. Very prompt with questions and responses. Definitely recommend

Had a wonderful getaway with the family. Lots of space inside and outside for the family to hangout. Bbq area was well equipped with table and plenty of chairs for a large group.

The adults liked it because it seemed like they were healing, and the kids played so well that they didn't even find their toys. It was a little difficult to use the hot water, but everything else was so nice. I think I'll definitely consider it again when several people go next time.

It was nice. First of all, it was comfortable and nice that the barbecue was self-service.

This is a place I visited with friends, and it was the perfect place for 4 people to stay. I only stayed for 1 night and 2 days, but I stayed so comfortably, and it was nice to be able to have a separate barbecue on the veranda. I was a little worried that the Hinoki bathtub might not be available if the weather was cold, but fortunately, the Hinoki bathtub was also available, which was even better. All the necessary tableware and cooking utensils were prepared, so it was convenient. The bathroom is a little small, but I don't think it's a big problem. I also appreciated the recommendations of cafes and restaurants nearby.

It was a nice and healing weekend in a very remote area. The host was very friendly - thank you for everything! It is in a mountainous area with forest, so if you like hiking then this is a good place to go! The hot tub was very relaxing, too :) the pool was not usable tho. You can book the barbecue grill for a fee, which is a nice option. Maybe next time! Tipp: get everything for cooking before you come to the place, including water, because it is a very remote area. All in all we had a good stay there :) thank you!!
