The area is away from the city noise but at the same time only a 10min walk to the city centre for the Cathedral and the highstreet. The perfect balance. It is only a 3min walk from the Canterbury city Roman walls, the castle, Canterbury EAST St., an ALDI supermarket and the best fish and chips in the city 'Papas'. You can park your car too with a dedicated parking space.

Exceptionally lovely place in the heart of historic Canterbury. Whether you’re escaping the hustle and bustle of London for a weekend or planning a longer stay to soak up the charm of slow living, this is the perfect spot. Romy, Nick and the sweetest Marmaduke truly make you feel at home. The place is spotless, comfortable, peaceful, modern and cosy- just like a home from home. Their hospitality goes above and beyond: great recommendations, genuine care and the feeling of being truly welcomed as a guest. I wouldn’t just recommend staying here- I would encourage it. 🌟 P.S. I stayed here for three weeks, so you can definitely take my word for it!

An excellent place to stay, with easy access to high street. The room was very comfortable with a nicely sized bathroom, and it looked just as gorgeous as the photos! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We did not have any service in the area however, and the WiFi stopped working on the third night for some reason! Otherwise it is a lovely place and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s beautiful house. Loved the period features, beams, low ceilings, all so cosy. The rooms are all decorated tastefully & spacious. We chose not to cook, but if we had, Louise has a great selection of spices/herbs. Very generously, Louise left a delicious bottle of sparkly for us to have on arrival. Louise was extremely accommodating & flexible, also responsive to any queries l had. Louise is a very helpful host with a warm personality. The house is very central & perfect location to restaurants & cathedral, shops. We hope to return again next year. Hopefully in December, such a lovely time of year to visit Canterbury, very Christmassy.🎄

Nick and Rebecca's apartment was a great place to stay for us, especially as we were starting the Via Francigena polgrim route from Canterbury Cathedral, which was 3 mins walk. Right in the middle of everything and so close to restaurants etc. The apartment was comfy, and had lots of generous touches.

Very comfortable and relaxing. The location is easily walkable up to the start of the high street but also accessible via bus with links to the nearby University and beyond to Blean and Whitstable. Derrie was very friendly and helpful, I'd say this is ideal for anyone looking to come and go as they please during a stay in Canterbury. Ideal for parents visiting students in the city.

Just a well put-together place in a great location in the old quarters of Canterbury, and you even can see the Cathedral tower from a second-story window. It's also extremely quiet. I stayed for about a week of personal work and sightseeing, and would enjoy doing so again.

I had a great stay at Yuki’s place! Check-in was very straightforward—easy to find, simple to access, and supported by clear instructions. The listing matched the photos accurately, though the space was a little smaller than expected. Cleanliness was generally good: the sheets, kitchen, and surfaces were all spotless. The location was perfect—just a 2-minute walk from the theatre I was working at and very close to the city centre, with plenty of lovely things to do nearby. Yuki’s communication was outstanding—she responded to messages within 10 minutes every time, which made everything feel smooth and supported. The value for money was excellent. The only downside was some noise from neighbours over the weekend, which disturbed my sleep a little. That said, weekdays were peaceful, and I slept very well and comfortably. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a well-located anyone needing a well-located and responsive host stay in Canterbury!
