We loved that apartment! Located in quiet, peaceful area with amazing views! But just 5 min drive from Akureyri! It is modern, clean, plenty of space for two people. Kitchen’s fully equipped, bed very comfortable, and there’s hot tub and grill on the patio! Highly recommended 👍👍

We had a very pleasant stay in the appartement, is was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is convenient with some close stores. Jónas was very responsive.

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a very luxurious feel and all the amenities one could ever need. The host was very gracious and accommodating with excellent communications throughout the process. The house sits at the bottom of a beautiful snow mountain so the view is fabulous！

Great apartment. Exactly as described on Airbnb and as shown in the photos. Very homely place. Does not feel like a temporary guest accommodation, feels like your are staying in a proper functioning home as soon as you enter the place. This is one the best places I stayed during my entire Iceland trip. The parking is also free in the parking lot right adjacent to the apartment building. The apartment is on the first floor itself right next to the entrance of the apartment building, so very convenient for senior and elderly people also. If you are staying in Akureyri, go for this place.

A wonderful and impeccably clean house situated in a charming and peaceful neighborhood. Asta is an exceptionally friendly host, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay！

We really enjoyed staying at Laufey's air bnb. Her apartment is very spacious and clean. Laufey was super nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. She provided super helpful printouts of recommendations she had for places to check out and helpful guides for interesting locations to explore.

This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip! The hot tub and the view were outstanding!!! This is a great place!!! Highly recommend!!

Beautifull hose across from the most beautiful pool in Iceland. Can't be a better location. Amazing view, northern lights and the best pool. House is spacious clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but could easily stay more. Highly recommended

We loved our stay in this charming, comfortable house with a fabulous view and so peaceful! Pora was a wonderful host who gave us many suggestions for activities and attractions in the area. A great little restaurant nearby. The best accommodation during our trip around the Ring Road, I highly recommend staying here.

Das Haus von Sigrun ist sehr liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet. Ich habe mich dort sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein Highlight war für mich dabei die traumhafte Aussicht auf einen Teil des Hafens und die gegenüberliegenden Berge, einfach toll. Auch konnte ich von dort direkt die mir sehr liebgewordenen "Síldarstúlkan" (Herring Girls) sehen. 🤗 Alles war sehr sauber und super ausgestattet, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Zudem ist die Lage ideal, um das malerische Siglufjörður auch zu Fuß bequem zu erkunden oder im nahegelegenen kleinen Supermarkt einzukaufen. Gastgeberin Sigrun war außergewöhnlich freundlich, immer schnell erreichbar und sehr entgegenkommend. Besonders gefreut habe ich mich über den handgeschriebenen Willkommensgruß. Eine wirklich schöne und persönliche Geste.

This House was a really Great Choice. It is a Little Bit further away from the ringroute but that made it really quiet and scenic too. It still is easy to reach and you have everything you need close by. I highly recommend to take a detour to this City it is really worth it. Herdís was a really helpful and friendly Host. If im ever going to visit Iceland again I make sure to take a stop there again.

Einstaklega huggulegt og kósý hús fyrir vinkonuhópinn. Allt til alls í eldhúsinu og tvö baðherbergi :) Þetta er í annað sinn sem við erum allar saman í húsinu og við vorum allar sammála um að þarna væri gott að vera. Staðsetningin er miðsvæðis og samskiptin við eigandann frábær.

We had a beautiful christmas stay here! The apartment was so cosy and we were sad to leave this place. It felt refreshing to be able to cook our dinner every night and sit down and watch some TV. The fold out couch was great for movie nights too!

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

Schöne Wohnung, alles sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, ausreichend Platz, um auch mal nur auf dem Sofa zu hängend. Man ist schnell in der Stadt und es ist erstaunlicherweise sehr ruhig. Hätte ich bei einer so grossen Wohnanlage nicht gedacht.

Heiddis ist eine außergewöhnlich sympathische, warmherzige und fröhliche Gastgeberin! Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf die schneebedeckten Berge, die blühenden Wiesen und den Sonnenuntergang am Fjord direkt vor der Haustür ist einfach fantastisch. Die Lage ist hervorragend- sowohl nach Akureyri, als auch zum Wandern in der Natur ist es nicht weit. Die Wohnung ist mit allem, was man braucht, gut ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100 %! Liebe Heiddis, wir danken dir und deiner Familie und deinem süßen kuscheligen Hund für diese wundervolle Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. We had an exceptional experience staying at Arna's apartment in Akureyri. The apartment was stylish, clean and perfect for our family trip with our son and his girlfriend. We used Akureyri as our base to explore much of the beautiful northern part of Iceland. We also enjoyed the downtown, the nearby Aviation Museum and the Forest Lagoon. Our experience echoes all of the other outstanding reviews from Arna's prior guests. This apartment is a gem.
