Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Dainfern

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

This was our second stay at Maddy's place. Beautiful home, large bedrooms enough to accommodate my large family. Very clean. Great communication throughout and they accommodated our awkward check out time due to our flights out. Highly recommend!

This house is amazing!!! The fireplace room is like being in a fairytale! It’s so cool. The hosts are amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. I would stay there again with pleasure. Thank you for everything Charmaine and Stefan we were so grateful for the house during a difficult few days. We felt safe and comfortable.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. James was super nice. We were headed to the market for food and he offered to drop us off. On the way he showed us the neighborhood and gave us many local restaurant recommendations. He checked on us during our stay to make sure all was well. We went in the fall/winter time and wasn’t aware that most home don’t have central heating so at times the place is cold. James has solutions that help so we managed. Overall the place is beautiful and was a great place to stay during our trip to Johannesburg.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Sive is an exceptional host, warm, thoughtful, and truly attentive to every detail. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. Her apartment was spotless, beautifully prepared, and had all the little touches that made my stay incredibly comfortable. You can tell she takes real pride in creating a welcoming space, and it shows. Sive’s commitment to excellence sets her apart, she’s not just a great host, she’s a wonderful one. My parents found their stay at Phuti’s place fantastic! While they valued the location and amenities of the property, they had some challenges with their preferred softer bed being in the guest room and not in the main room. However, Phuti was quick to respond and swapped the beds for them. He also provided great local tips, and he went above and beyond to ensure they had a comfortable stay. He even extended their check-out time and offered to transport my old school parents, who refuse Uber, to the airport, as I was stuck at work. Thank you, Phuti. Highly recommended! They say they'd definitely come back here again.

12/10. It’s not usually possible to exceed perfection but Paton and Byron’s place sure did. The apartment was warm and cozy and had everything you needed for a short or long stay. It was extremely clean which is a big deal for me to say because I work in hospitality and do room inspections for a living. What Paton and Byron brought to the table as hosts is overwhelming kindness, understanding and generosity. If you want to have a remarkable stay in joburg, book this place or anyone of their units at ellipse waterfall. You won’t regret it! Highly recommend!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed pashira’s home. Jessica was so responsive & helpful, they even provided extra fans when requested because of the heat, definitely would recommend. By far one of the best hosts I’ve experienced.

I had a wonderful stay at Tia and Mandy’s place. Both hosts were always very responsive and immediately took action if anything required it (which there was very little need for). The location of this studio apartment is also perfect for someone that needs to be close to amenities like a pharmacy, great restaurants and grocery stores. I had friendly neighbors and the security at the complex is top notch. Please note that the washing machine is not in the unit but within a laundry room in the complex. I wont hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone needing a weekend away or a short stay with all the comforts of home.

The backup power actually works during load shedding, Wi-Fi never fails, and the apartment is consistently spotless.
