It was really peaceful staying at Laura’s place on the coast! I was passing through Brookings from California on my way back to Seattle and this place had everything I needed. The internet was really fast and great for video calls at work. I would stay here again!

The views were amazing! Thank you for hosting this quaint little place for my mother-in-laws birthday! It was peaceful and perfect for her and her sister! Thank you, and the pets loved it too!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was even nicer than the photos. The area was quiet. The beach was a short walk away. The ocean view from the house was beautiful. We’d definitely stay here again.

You can’t beat the location! This is our second time staying at this beautiful home and we can’t wait to come back. The beach is a mere steps away down an easy path. Many great restaurants just 5min away. The home was spacious and well stocked. Owner was great to communicate with.

This was a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and so close to the beach path. The view of the ocean is mesmerizing.

We had a spur of the moment decision to spend thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful location, mind you it’s an rv park with mini houses. It is right on the Rouge River and steps away from the coast line we stayed in #36 and it was perfect you could see the beach from the tiny house. The kitchen supplies are rudimentary but enough to make a meal. It was a bit cold but other than that it was a great little place to stay! The surrounding sites are amazing, Myrtle Wood Trail is a must, Oregon Redwoods is a must! The surrounding towns are great too! The grocery shopping in Gold Beach was great. We loved it. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you!!!!

Wonderful lodging experience. Michelle over delivered on our expectations. Great bedrooms each with bath, great views, great parking, great beach access. Loved it! But Michelle’s efforts really win our gold star. When we asked about early check in, Michelle sent extra housekeeping to get the home ready for an early arrival. Another ‘extra mile’. A note to other AirBnB travelers; Michelle’s housekeepers work very hard, as do many other housekeepers in the AirBnB program. When possible, please let them know you appreciate their efforts to make us all comfortable. They are important people in our vacation orbit, and we need to let them know that.

We loved our time at this AirBNB! It's just across the street from a public area where you can view the ocean from the top of the cliffs and there are beaches a few minutes drive in either direction. The house was clean and spacious for 7 of us with everything we needed for our visit to the Redwoods and the Oregon Coast. The small hot tub in the sunroom was nice at the end of the day, and they included details like towels for the hot tub, board games, detergent, extra blankets, etc. It's an older home that has been nicely renovated, with thoughtful additions. The kids wanted to stay at the house as much as possible. We would love to come back!

The view is unmatched! We had plans to travel the coast each day for sunset but found ourselves just wanting to soak up every sunset we could get from the house! The fire pit and bbq grill made for the perfect sunset vibes! The house was stocked with everything we needed and more! Hosts were very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

As always, this home is perfect for a relaxing stay. The view is fabulous and the lake so calming. We will come again.

Our trip and stay at the Coastaway Cottage was one of our best Airbnb experiences to date, made even better by host, Tracie. Gracious and responsive to any questions/concerns, Tracie went so far as to offer a quick follow-up phone call to resolve a slight issue (caused by me) with one of the electrical outlets. As a family of tall (5'6"), taller (5'9") and tallest (5'10") sisters, we all commented on and were delighted by the height of the countertops, shower heads (yay!) and even the toilet. Tracie has ensured every detail is in place for guests to unwind and indulge in a memorable stay at her charming Coastaway Cottage. We sisters all agreed that Coastaway Cottage would be a place to return to again and again, and one we would highly recommend to friends and family. A++

Absolutely the best. We travel alot and this by far has been my favorite. I love the detailed instructions from inside the house to the book with fun things to do. Usually there is not clear concise instructions, this was laid all out. I love the ambiance of the place to the comfy beds and close proximity to all the things I wanted to see. After long days away seeing the Redwoods and multiple beaches coming back to this gem was the highlight for relaxation. I am already planning my next trip down. Thank you for sharing your home!

Exceptional location, and gated access made us feel very secure. The windows were a little hazy, but the view is stunning. A beautiful, well-cultivated walk leads down to an absolutely perfect private-access beach. Linens and towels were fluffy, good quality, and very clean. The whole property was clean and well-appointed. Nice coffee options. There are three parking spots directly in front of the unit, and we always found at least one open, which made for super convenient loading and unloading of luggage. No stairs. The highway is close enough that it was obvious when heavy vehicles went by, but it never bothered us. Didn't hear road noise at night, and the highway proximity just means that town/shops/restaurants are easily accessible. Apart from that little bit of daytime road noise, the property was very quiet and peaceful. Didn't hear any neighbors, and the ones we encountered outside were very nice. I would rent here again.

I can’t say enough how much my Husband and I enjoyed our stay at Trudy’s, this was one of the nicest, cleanest, fully stocked and well decorated homes we’ve ever stayed in! The convenience of the elevator, and the ability to park in the garage was an added bonus! With beautiful views this home offers we were even able to enjoy a gorgeous sunset on Valentine’s Day! Thank you so much Trudy in helping to make our getaway a memorable one! We will definitely be returning!

we needed a last minute place and they had availability and responded immediately, extremely friendly and amazing people, the place was absolutely amazing and beautiful we didn't want to leave a I know I will be back, they house and area are unbelievably beautiful we fully recommend this place,I can say enough good things about Barbara and Patrick and their amazing home

Absolutely beautiful place. Just steps from the beach. The view from the windows facing the water is breathtaking especially at sunset or sunrise. The beach is pretty private. We ran into maybe 5 people on the beach in the time we were there. The home has everything you will need for an amazing vacation. The couches in the living room are so comfortable, I know that sounds like a small thing but it mattered to us. Thank you Clare for the accommodations you gave us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The view alone is worth it! This home is lavishly furnished, spacious, and provides everything you need. We spent hours on the deck , in the hot tub, playing pool and sitting in the massage chair. Each room is spacious, has its own gorgeous bathroom, and private. The kitchen and dining provided are beautiful and provide the perfect place for gathering and enjoying conversation. Seeing the deer in the driveway was an added bonus.

We had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the pacific coast, and with the most perfect magical gateway to the beach directly from the property. The neighborhood was quiet, the beach was so much fun and beautiful! Two cities to enjoy just a short drive away!

Beautiful home and beautiful scenery. The home was perfect for my family of 7 and had everything we needed to make a fantastic dinner. The view from the dining room table was a perfect view while we ate dinner and then played a few board games. I would definitely recommend.

Shirley's unit is beautiful and perched directly above a river running into the ocean. the view from the hot tub is great. Space was perfect for two families with shared kids room. Worth noting there is a rocky drop off to the river below and out back door so need to have attention with younger kids. if you walk down the street a couple minutes there is a path to beach access. love this stretch of coast and we had everything we needed. thanks Shirley for finding a pack and play for us to use!

The views were absolutely spectacular! We loved every minute of being in this beautiful home as are eyes were always drawn to the see. We didn’t feel pressure to find things to do as the beach is accessible after a short walk and we loved exploring the tide pools. Wonderful place to spend a week and we hope to again soon.

An amazing stay! The hot tub with the beach view was magical during sunset along with the fire place. Clare called to talk over check in and we got to ask about the dogs at the neighbors house which was very helpful. Other dogs didn’t cause any issues with ours Bob sounded aggressive but was never and stayed near the fence never approached the house our are dog. Would love to stay again
