“Jose Maria is one of the best hosts we have stayed with. Communication was timely. Since we do not speak Spanish, so we used a translator (Google) for email communications. Jose Maria met us at the railway station and drove us (and our luggage) in his car to the house. That was really thoughtful as we had an overnight flight from Canada and our youngest child was tired. Upon arrival, Jose Maria and his daughter showed us around the house and courtyard (with nice flowering trees in July). There was even a bottle of wine and two bottles of water in the house. The house easily accommodated our family of 5 and it was around 200m from the sea. The house is more like a duplex with fully independent entrance and a nice patio. The second duplex is where the host's family lives. There were beach towels, beach umbrella and collapsible beach chairs for us to use. There is plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Cunit beaches are beautiful and not as busy as in Barcelona. The water is shallow and ideal for kids. ”
Cosy flat 30 meters from the beach, close to the station (train to Barcelona) and all sort of facilities. Private parking.
“You couldn't wish for a more pleasent place to stay than this apartment. The view from the balcony is amazing and to hear from the sound of the waves is so relaxing. Plenty of local bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. Would not hesitate to recommend . The communication was great, Oriol would check that we were ok and comfortable. Nice apartment on the seafront in Cunit (Tarragona), of 80m2, exterior, bright, and all rooms with sea views. Located in a family area, not crowded. Close to all services. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher) and all necessary accessories. Large balcony overlooking the sea. Private parking space on the same property. Free WIFI. It is a first floor with elevator.
“We stayed here in July and were quite skeptical as the apartment does not have air conditioning. But it was still good for us, and I have to say that this July was not as hot as last year. This is not a problem until the evening, as there is a fresh breeze from the sea. Unfortunately, it is impossible at night to make a draft, because at night no wind blows. There was also only 1 fan in the apartment, we put in a smaller room, as otherwise nothing would have moved. It was fine, only one night it was just too hot. Otherwise, the apartment is great: the bathrooms are great, water pressure is decent, the balcony overlooking the beach and promenade is great, supermarkets, etc. are easily accessible. I would like to emphasize that the double bed is both extremely comfortable, and sufficiently large enough for 2 people (1.80m wide I would appreciate). Most Airbnbs in Spain have such 1,40 or 1,60 m wide beds, because we fit in pairs never inside. That's great here. The contact has worked great.”
