Beachfront holiday rentals in Cumberland County

We had a girls weekend in Maine, where 10 of us stayed at Krystal's home in Old Orchard Beach. It was the perfect location, close to Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Kennebunkport, and the beach itself in OOB. The home was minutes walking to the town and beach which was perfect! The 3 floors were spacious and every room in the home had its own charm making it the perfect gateway! We even changed some of our plans to stay in more and enjoy the beautiful home! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for us 10, and have two separate fully stocked kitchens was also a huge bonus! We particularly loved the large dining table space and ate all our meals in there together. While the home made our trip, thee hospitality and responsiveness of Krystal helped make the travels that much easier and seamless. They were very communicative of arrival plans and departures and went above and beyond by stocking the fridge with beverages, sharing helpful recommendations and tips, and a lovely note!

We got exactly what we paid for. The apartment was spacious for our group of 2 and our dog. We enjoyed morning walks down by the water and coffee from the local coffee shops. This place was close to so many great parts of Portland - exactly what we needed for a long weekend away!

it's a magical location and such a well appointed apartment. as someone who has hosted on airbnb, I really appreciated all the amenities they had. the hosts are so dope as well. you cannot go wrong with the place, the location, or the vibe.

We had such a nice stay at this lovely house. The house had everything we needed with a fantastic view. Plenty of things to see and do nearby.

The cabin was exactly as described snd expected. It was very spacious and peaceful with great views. It was also close enough driving distance to restaurants, grocery, etc.

Absolutely loved our time at Ian’s house! We’re already dreaming of coming back - from the sandbar to the town being so walkable, we really had the best time.

This was our fourth stay at Ralda's house. It is easily one of my favorite places to stay. The house is pristine and comfortable, and the proximity to Higgins Beach can't be beat. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular! We really enjoyed seeing fireworks from the deck. The home was very clean, kitchen fully stocked. We loved hearing live music each day and night. So much walkable fun for the kids. We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home and amazing atmosphere if you love sitting by the water!! If you like waking up and looking out to Beautiful Sebago Lake, listening to the boats go by and sitting with nature this house is for you!!! Jessica and Adam's home is perfect for a family getaway! We had a wonderful week with Brian's condo as a "home base" - we truly felt at home. It was chock full of small and big touches (toiletries/supplies! paper goods! plentiful sheets and towels! beach towels! to name a few) and surprises (generous snacks greeting us on arrival) that made us feel spoiled. The condo was a great size with an open kitchen/common area and large patio. We were familiar with the area but not Ocean Park Meadows, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely property and amenities (especially the pool, pickleball, shuffleboard and cornhole) and how well maintained they were. The condo was a quick 2 block walk to the beach, made easy (even with alot of stuff and three kids) with the beach wagon available for our use. Brian was a perfect balance of being proactive, informative, and accommodating while letting us "do our thing". We loved how "our" beach was quiet and nestled between the more bustling OOB and OP areas; the neighborhood, too. We'll be back!

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

We totally enjoyed our stay in Harpswell. We took several of the walks on the Land Trust list all very well sign posted off the side of the road. Don’t miss Giants steps. Lisa’s white folder had brochures that described all this. We also enjoyed popping in to the local potteries-of which there are many- the potters were very interested in talking about their craft. We liked Ash Cove especially. The house was very well situated for seeing all of the fun things around. We ate out in wonderful restaurants. We loved The Dolphin and the fabulous views from the windows and property. The Owls Nest is great too for relaxing in, we enjoyed the deck and the very comfortable living room. lots of nice amenities -nice washer and dryer, great shower. Just a great place to stay.

We went road tripping with our cats and looked for a pet friendly location. Kate’s place had an enclosed patio which is why we chose it. It’s a little hard to find due to Google Map’s strange bug, but Kate’s instruction actually had the precise turn needed to get in. Apple Map worked just fine for all subsequent navigations. Otherwise, the cottage was exactly as described and everything was stated on the listing. It was clean, and a comfortable stay with all of the amenities we needed. Kate even included a couple of snacks, which was super appreciated. The private access to Sebago Lake was amazing, and they pulled out kayaks for us to use (thank you!) Kate is extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. There’s also a website they had with their information and a printed version in the cottage. Would definitely recommend, great cottage and host.

This cozy yet spacious cottage by the sea was so well appointed and peaceful. We went with another couple and both of our rooms faced the sea so we all got to hear the waves when we retreated to our rooms at night. Lisa was easy to communicate with and very helpful! If we ever get back to Peaks Island….we would definitely stay here!! Thank you Lisa!

My stay was very nice and relaxing at Katie’s Airbnb! She was very easy to communicate with. I had a little difficulty with checkout and returning the keys but Katie messaged me back quickly to resolve the issue. Her home was very cozy and right next to the beach. I went with three other girlfriends as a little get an away. The pull out coach/ bed was pretty small so maybe keep that in mind. Lovely stay! Thank you!

Cape Elizebeth is very beautiful even in the early winter! I got to see the sunshine, snow and rain all in a cozy home! I highly recommend This home! It is stocked with everything you would need, even puzzles, of which I am a fan!

As they say in a real estate: location, location, location. This property is beautifully located. And the property itself has a rustic cabin like feel. Just what you want for the Maine coast.

Was the perfect place for a little mental retreat, was exactly the place I needed to be to clear my head and escape reality for the week I spent there. The host Amie was so helpful with questions about the area and able to give recommendations on local restaurants and parking for visitors. All in all I had an amazing time here and will definitely be booking again.
