Beautiful two-room apartment in a rustic building of the sixteenth century just restored. It is very quiet: you can reach it on foot by a short path. The house is located in the center of the ancient medieval village of Rivoira, next to the community's wood-burning oven and next to the ancient press for pressing grapes. The village is located at a height of about 500 meters at the entrance of the Valle Vigezzo, and the building overlooks the beautiful Ossola valley, facing the Moncucco and Domobianca.

The Farmer House of Villa Raghezzi

Our place is only suitable for those willing to make a 10 minute walk uphill to enter into a totally private world of its own. A breathtaking view of the Alps, rose garden, pond, six hectares of park and forest shared only with your hosts. The abundant spring fed water is its most precious secret and the sound of water is ever present. As the upstairs apartment IS NOT HEATED from October through April we put two single beds in the large living room to accommodate a total of four guests.

The apartment is located at the ground floor, in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Domodossola. It takes 10-15 min walk to get to Piazza Mercato and city centre. The area is surrounded by nature and and it’s located 50 meters from the wood with access to hiking and MTB pat We live on the upper floor but the apartment has fully independent access. The place is calm and quiet and it is a perfect base to hike, ski, visit Calvario (Unesco World Heritage) or explore Val d’Ossola.

Riccardo provided excellent instructions and allowed possible early checkin in our case. The apartment was clean and well outfitted in a superb location. We found it to be quiet at night. The bedding was of exceptional quality. The apartment is conveniently located with access to the lively Piassa Mercato, while simultaneously being tucked in the back area through double doors and some stairs, which renders it quiet in a sequestered nook. This makes for a lovely and romantic stay that is super convenient to all the shopping and restaurants.

We had a good time. The house is very large, the bathrooms are very clean. The bar next door is closed, but the play area, which includes table tennis and a jump rope, is accessible. The internet connection and TV don't work, but honestly we did without them.

Very nice place, clean and central! Quick replies from the host to messages, easy communication. Perhaps an improvement could be including WiFi, since the area had weather issues and mobile data did not work.
