We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. We had an execellent stay here in this quiet village. Mathieu & Camille were friendly hosts. We were visiting the D-Day sites/museums, many of which are within easy reach. Overall, the property is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bedrooms have great double beds and mattresses. The bathroom is of a good standard with a very good shower. The walled garden is private and quiet. When looking on Google Maps the 15 minute walk to the beach appears to have no footpath. However, there is an excellent footpath! For bird watchers or those with an interest during an evening stroll we recorded/saw a Greater Whitethroat, Redstart & Zitting Cisticola! Would recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful little stay in "the shell"🐚, a small studio very nicely decorated, comfortable, impeccable! Its garden and garden furniture allowed us to live as much outside as inside, and fortunately with the hot weather! You are close to everything, supermarket, good restaurants, beach, very nice Baleine park. Mylène is a very responsive and accommodating host, enough to make the whole experience magical ✨ Ps: our little dog loved it too 🐶

We stayed here for 4 nights, two adults, two children and a small dog. It was perfect for all of us. It was very nice to have a completely fenced garden where the dog could be off the leash. Walking distance to amenities and attractions. Although my French is terribly bad, everyone we met was friendly and accommodating. Recommended!

We, a family with 2 adult and 2 kids, stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it! Micheline was a wonderful host, they house was in a perfect location with a quick walk to the beach. We had plenty of space to relax and it was the perfect size. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is cozy and very comfortable, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and the outside is a real plus. We appreciated the little attention that Fanny and Julien had when we arrived. We would highly recommend it.

An absolutely perfect place to stay! Benoit was a wonderful host. The home itself was very clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and a great size for our family to stay in for several days. Located on a peaceful, quiet, charming street just a block or two from everything you need. Easy and free parking, and easy to drive in and out of the neighborhood. We enjoyed dining on the patio, listening to the church bells, and having a view of the church. Arromanches was a delightful town with beautiful beaches, charming streets, and all the amenities needed for a multi-day stay. A perfect home base for exploring Normandy. We can't wait to return!
