Farmstay holiday rentals in County Wexford

The cottage we were living in for the last 2days was beautiful inside and out! This beautiful cottage is in a gated driveway on several beautiful acres! Off a river with Mountain View’s!. We took a long walk down from his cottage this morning enjoying the countryside. Saw cows sheep goats and Stallians! Of course rabbits, beautiful birds, tons of beautiful roses etc., wish we were here more days! The host is fantastic very nice and left us some fresh eggs, better cheese etc…

3rd time staying here with a group from work, couldn’t recommend enough.

Thank you Eileen for allowing us to stay in your childhood home. The house was welcoming with a quaint charm. Eileen’s love of her home was evident in her care of it. She greeted us on arrival and we enjoyed her warm nature and fun. Hopefully we will meet again next year at the Blackstairs challenge walk

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's farm! It was our last stop on a tour of Ireland and a perfect way to end the trip. The loft itself is comfortable and clean, and the property is stunning. Elizabeth and her team at the farm were very kind to my curious kids and let them tag along while taking care of the many animals on the property (a very special memory for them)! The dogs were also a welcomed hello when we arrived! The proximity to Killkenney was a great for a day in town and then an evening of peaceful surroundings. And Elizabeth was a really lovely host! Highly recommend making a visit here if you can!

We had a wonderful time staying at Lucy’s house in Blackwater. It is exactly as it looks in the photographs. There were 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 children and the house was so spacious that you never felt on top of one another. Everything you needed was there to make it a home away from home. The living space had floor to ceiling glass windows which filled the house with light, offering great views but also remaining very private. A large table allowed us to eat together as a family and to play board games on. There is also a lovely private decking area at the front of the house for sitting out on. The location was excellent to tour from and Blackwater itself is a quaint little village. Lucy as a host was terrific. Instructions were very clear and any questions we had were responded to promptly. I would highly recommend Lucy as a host and her accommodation to stay in.

What a wonderful stay at Turlock Cottage! The area around d the cottage is mystical and enchanting💕 Our family enjoyed a three night stay and were sad to leave when it was time. We will never forget your kindness and hospitality. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts Katalyn and family

Susan was wonderful. Met us on our late arrival with fresh scones and a fire burning in the fireplace. Gave us recommendations for nearby experiences and also let us settle in quickly. Checked in with us to see if we had needs and were great at communication. We had a lovely time at their beautiful property.

Martina’s place is lovely - beautiful and peaceful surroundings - perfect for an escape. The views are spectacular and I loved the BBQ and fireplace.

Wow! Simply one of the very best places we have ever stayed at. Bridget & Des are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and their unit was stunning. Quality throughout and the extra touches were very much appreciated. Very highly recommended AirBNB that felt like home.

Lovely little cottage on a sheep farm. We only stayed one night on our way through but would have been nice for a weekend getaway etc. Very friendly dogs and our little one enjoyed spotting the sheep and cows in the paddocks.

We had such a wonderful stay! Our toddler loved seeing the animals, especially the lambs and the two beautiful dogs. It was really a dream holiday! The beach is lovely and there are plenty of nice places to go - castles, pubs etc. Felicity gave us lots of recommendations and both Felicity and Stephen were so friendly and kind. The house is really well equipped, very clean, and feels like home. Even some swings outside! Can't recommend enough!

Unfortunately, in such a beautiful setting, this was a work stay, however Mary could not have been more helpful. Took booking at very short notice, and provided changes of linen when people swapped over. Super helpful and the setting really was amazing. Very tranquil. Lovely apartment. Next to main house and host was both friendly and available, while being also considerate of space and privacy. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay at Cathy's. We stayed for one night and received the warmest welcome from Cathy when we arrived. The BnB is located around the corner from Bunclody town centre. The area is really nice and we had nice views of the hills from our room. The room was immaculately clean and so well presented. We had everything we needed and the shower was really nice and the bed was really comfy too. The real winner though was the breakfast. We're not used to getting breakfast with AirBnBs but this was not just any breakfast... Cathy made the most delicious breakfast with so many elements. She catered to our dietary requirements better than anywhere I'm used to (avo on soda bread with tomatoes, fresh fruit, granola, scones and special cherry cake...) and it was such a good start to the day. Thanks Cathy!

We had the most wonderful and idyllic stay at Natalie and Patrick's farm. The peaceful atmosphere in and around the farm is really a slice of heaven with the most sublime views. Natalie and Patrick were the kindest of hosts and we had the most lovely conversations with them, which made us feel at truly at home. Natalie brought our young son to feed the animals of the farm which was so thoughtful and kind. We feel so lucky to have met them and really treasured our time on the farm. Communication was perfect throughout our entire stay and everything was provided for with the utmost care. We hope to visit them again in the future and it is a vacation we will always remember.

Had a great stay at Cian's place and would highly recommend. The cottage was located about a mile from the main beach in Dunmore East so close enough to walk but far enough to avoid the busy street parking closer in. The accomodation had an enclosed and private back garden which was great for the dogs and the garden furniture and bbq was also great particularly in the wonderful weather we had during our stay. The host was very responsive and look after our every question. They also filled the fridge with the essentials including a full fry up. Indeed Cian and Aileen were one of the best hosts I have had the pleasure of staying with. Dunmore East itself is just lovely with beaches and secluded coves. We managed to fit it swimming, SUP, kayaking, snorkeling and diving off the rocks. And the restaurants and seafood were to die for. All round a great stay!

We had a peaceful and quiet time at Jack's place. The Duncannon Beach is 2 minutes by car, with cafes and restaurants nearby. I would highly recomend if you are looking for a place to explore Wexford and Waterford.

Second time staying, and it was as good as the first. Gorgeous location, clean and tidy, and we got to enjoy the outdoor BBQ.

Wow... what a location. We were so happy to have found this AirBnB, it was a great location for exploring the surrounding area, and a perfect place to relax after a day of walking and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious, making meal prep a social activity with me and my family ... even the teenagers gave a hand :) Rebecca was a fantastic host. I felt well informed from when I initially looked at the listing to when we left the accommodation. And there were lots of little touches and extras which were a really nice surprise. I would not hesitate to go back there again. Thanks!

Abbeydown surpassed our expectations. The home is located up a private country road making for a quiet peaceful setting with lovely views. We enjoyed daily walks down the road with our dog and took walks from there throughout the countryside. The grounds are beautiful with gorgeous birdsong and sheep grazing on the distant hills. The house is very comfortable to live in and lovingly decorated with Michael's beautiful murals on the walls. Peter could not have been more helpful and delightful and we were greeted with eggs from local hens and fresh home baked bread. We took a tour at the nearby Huntington Castle with Peter as our guide and I highly recommend it. Altamont Gardens is also a must if you enjoy beautiful gardens. If you are looking for a restful, peaceful get-a-way, this is the place for you. Thank you Michael and Henrietta!

It was very quiet and peaceful. The sounds of birds and bees was a wonderful change from noisy traffic. If your aim is to get away from it all and touch some grass, then this is the place. Georgina, made us welcome and everything was great. Definitely recommend!
