Resembling a Tuscan Farmhouse this 200 years old coach house is simply irresistible. The building was elegantly restored after lying dormant for decades. Its situated to the rear of a private home and only 10 mins walk from Ranelagh and 15 mins from Ballsbridge. Peaceful and charming you wont want to leave…. Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.

We are located right in the heart of the City - North Side Close to the junction with Capel Street which has recently been pedestrianised resulting in much less vehicular traffic in the area. We are also very close to O'Connell Street and The Spire. The exceptionally convenient location is within walking distance of tourist sites and public transport. Old World Converted Stables with Swimming Pool.

The following is what past guests have said that they love about this property; Guests commented on how old world and elegent it looks. You have a sense of being in the country with birds and squirrels in the trees but yet you are only 10 minutes to the airport and 10 minutes to the city centre. Everyone adored our closeness to the phoenix park..There are many activities in the park including the zoo, the hop on hop off bus, segways, rent a bike to name a few.

Herd's cottage is a unique cottage, full of original features and charm. It has a history dating back over 200 years and has now been fully modernised to make what is a spacious, warm and peaceful holiday get away. It has ample parking right outside the door. There is also a private garden to the rear of the property. The location benefits from being both close to Dublin City and the airport but also being at the gateway of the Wicklow national park.
