Holiday rentals with a fireplace in County Cork

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy, quiet and the decor is very nice, chosen with great taste. Mathieu is discreet but very responsive to our messages. Thanks to him for his trust. We recommend this beautiful place with great pleasure.

We have been using AirBnB for more than 10 years and Catherine’s beautiful bungalow stands head and shoulders above every other one in which we have stayed. When you look at the photos, it’s normally the case that a clever photographer has managed to disguise some of the less attractive parts. With Catherine’s place, it’s quite the opposite. The photos do indeed show the seclusion and beauty of the location and give the viewer an idea of what facilities they are going to find inside the property. What the photos can’t reflect is the first class quality of the finish throughout. The two shower rooms with facilities you would expect find in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen, breakfast bar and dining areas all finished with beautiful marble surfaces providing an ambience of sophistication yet practicability. The top of the range Sony surround sound system in the relaxation area only goes to confirm that Catherine has spared no expense to provide her guests with an unforgettable stay.

John is a wonderful host… so helpful and welcoming. The cottage is peaceful and serene, in a wonderful location to visit many attractions and beautiful areas of Ireland. We appreciated the breakfast items they provided from their dairy farm!!

This was our second time staying at Brigit’s and this time we made sure the whole family came along with Jim our dog. The most beautiful and magical place that we all enjoyed so much. We will be back again!

What a beautifully decorated and lovely place this was, and what a view! The house exceeded our expectations and looked even better than the photos on Airbnb. The five of us enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the amenities, including L'Occitane toiletries provided! The place was within walking distance to Kinsale's main town with easy access to supermarkets, independent local stores and cafes/restaurants. Communication with Michael was great and he provided a useful handbook of details on how to check in, the local area, etc.

A truly hidden gem in the middle of town. So many lovely details and well thought out spaces both inside and out. Town and the surrounding area for long walks are just outside the gate. Loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay in Kenmare. The house is spacious and the neighborhood is beautiful. Ros was extremely responsive and a great travel guide. There were so many inviting, personal touches. The freshly-baked goods were so yummy, and our family really enjoyed the chocolates. We also enjoyed a warm fire after a very wet, cold day in Dingle. It is a great location to explore the Ring of Kerry. Ireland is so friendly, and Ros and family really go above and beyond for their guests.

Maud and Jim are great hosts and offered us help at any time. The house is wonderfully and very stylishly furnished. A real farmhouse with modern elements and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything we needed was there. I haven't had so much rest and relaxation in a long time. We really enjoyed our days there. It's an absolutely quiet location, away from the usual hustle and bustle. Thank you also for the friendly welcome on the day of our arrival, which was fraught with challenges. The vegetable cake tasted fantastic. Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

We had an excellent stay and were received by Tracy's mother. Some bread, fresh eggs and milk were provided. The apartment is located in a nice area and has all the necessary facilities, e.g. a kitchen, bathroom and TV. There is nothing to complain about. We would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could!

The stay was way better than we expected. Pearse was responsive and the apt was clean and cozy. Perfect distance from the city of cork

We loved our stay ,it felt like home,we will deffo be back.The home was spacious,and very clean,the hot tub was a real bonus after a long drive,and to play a little music before bedtime was priceless.The doggies also were welcomed which we appreciated. The only downside we would have liked to stay longer🤸‍♀️😊🐕🐕🐕

John was communicative and helpful from the get go. His place was easy to find and access. As others have said it is in the heart of the town, making it close to everything, but also a bit loud on a weekend - a white noise machine took care of all that though. Great spot and very convenient!

Myself and my son stayed here as we were attending a wedding close by . From the beginning Joan was so helpful and great communication throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful, clean , fresh and in the most stunning location. Much nicer then even the photos. Would highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

The lodge was an amazing break from our whirlwind tour of Ireland. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the town of Glenngarriff was fun. Highly recommend!

Myself and my friends came for a relaxing stay in west cork and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings and furnishings in the home with ample space for the 8 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evening time! Brian is a fabulous host and was really helpful and made checking in and out a breeze. A fabulous bank holiday weekend!

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place. Perfect for our family of 6 adults looking for a peaceful escape from the cities. Enjoyed the walking trails in the back and the house is absolutely beautiful with a great view. Easy to get to surrounding areas for day trips. Robert was extremely welcoming and responsive. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Ireland!

We were lucky enough to stay here for about a week and it was incredible — we were genuinely so sad to leave! Words can’t describe how beautiful the home and surround areas are, and Robert is everything you could possibly hope for in a host. Truly an amazing experience and worth every penny. My family loved being here for Christmas. It is one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever seen and so incredibly peaceful. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very well appointed for our family of five.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!
