Secluded Magical Lakeside Escape

AmberRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at Rose Cottage! We went as a group of 6 for my stepdads 70th birthday and we couldn't recommend this place enough! The hosts were so friendly and the place was incredible! They had many recommendations and we would definitely come back again in the future. Piper's Inn near by has the best seafood chowder we've had in all of Ireland so far, and the cottage itself was so quaint and lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Irish countryside!

Fairgreen Cottage dating pre-1840s - Pet Friendly

TamaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed at Anna Marie’s for 4 days. Attended a wedding at Vaughn’s and the house was awesome! The home was well appointed with everything we needed. Anna Marie even stocked the fridge with everything we needed for breakfast included eggs, bread, milk and cheese. We were two couple travelling and there was enough sleeping arrangements that we were all able to have a bed to ourselves (one on a sofa bed; which was extremely comfortable). The patio area outside was excellent as the weather allowed us to eat our meals outside.

Teach Loistín, Aughinish, Co. Clare

AmberRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay was absolutely lovely. The location is remote, yet within 15 minutes of a village with great pubs. The cottage was exactly as described and the views on the walk suggested to us were breathtaking. If you are looking for a peaceful place with excellent hosts, you should book this immediately!

We felt truly at home here. The peaceful atmosphere gave us space to unwind, connect, and slow down from the usual pace of life. From the cozy corners to the quiet moments, this house helped center us around simple joys and really enjoy our stay on Inishmore.

The Old Dispensary Labasheeda Cosy modern cottage

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed for one night at Cathy’s on our way to the Kilkee Cliffs. The house provided everything that was needed. You can even sit outside and enjoy the courtyard. The environment is pretty quiet and in the direct area there is not much to do. We discovered that many buildings in the village are not inhabited permanently but the village nonetheless appears tidy, friendly and cared for. The small harbour is a perfect stop for biking tourists. The cottage itself is nicely decorated, well equipped and rather stylish. We liked it there. Later we also took the ferry to Tabert. Nice experience!

The Boat House with beach access

MaryRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay at John’s charming Boathouse, recently, was wonderful from start to finish. The sea view was mesmerising, the sea-scented clean air a treat to breathe, the garden tranquil and inviting and the beach the icing on the cake. Walking into The Boathouse for the first time was like the warm hug of coming home. The location is safe and welcoming, the locals friendly and open. John himself is engaging, friendly, always on hand if needed and full of friendly tips and conversation. We loved staying here and it was hard to say goodbye.

Luxurious & Romantic Atlantic Way Dome

IdaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Dome is a super experience. It’s like camping but in very luxury way! It’s spacious, clean; you have toilet and kitchen all in the lovely space. Nature is around you and if you have a car( you need to get it there) it’s five minutes from the center of Doolin. With the rain it’s very romantic: you can feel the rain dropping, we loved it. Aidan was lovely and very kind! Have a stop here and enjoy the Dome!

Dog Friendly Modern Granny Flat 5 mins from Ennis

SusanRating, 5 starstoday
Cannot say enough good things about Edel’s granny flat, and Edel and Barry (and Bertie) as hosts. It’s a lovely one bedroom, newly renovated, well equipped, nestled in a private family compound. The quiet, privacy, and wide open spaces in the views are just perfect and relaxing — and at the same time it’s just a quick dash into Ennis, and an easy drive to beaches, sites like Bunratty or Caherconnell (there’s an excellent restaurant and a drive thru espresso place 5 minutes up the road, too). Edel was so charming and welcoming, with ideas of places (dog friendly, as I had my Corgi with me) to visit or to grab a great meal, and she checked in on our stay to ensure all was well. I think we’d have happily just moved in, but alas, we had to go on to our next stop in Sligo. But we will return, it’s a great place to stay in an area full of charm and interest.

Wild Cabins Kinvara

RosieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wild Cabins Kinvara was absolutely amazing! Roy and Mary were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cabins are perfectly located — just a short distance from downtown Kinvara, yet they feel wonderfully secluded and peaceful. Living on the land was such a unique and grounding experience. We especially loved spending time with the adorable farm animals — they were so friendly, and we enjoyed petting and interacting with them every day. It was the perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort, and a real highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled escape!

Sea View Moher Mobile

JanetRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Looking out over the sea with the cows coming over to say good morning was quite idyllic. Very different to the usual all-look-the-same town apartments or budget hotels. It was cosy, and charming, and the weather was good to us. Plenty to do in the area - we could have stayed twice as long and not done everything. A big highlight visiting the Father Ted house. Geraldine was lovely and very accommodating.

Large Beachfront Home West Clare

We loved the house, it's the ideal place to relax and unwind. It is by the sea and has beautiful views. Something that would improve would be the cleanliness and some showers and plugs did not work. But we would definitely repeat!!

Based near Kilkee and Kilrush. Perfect for groups

InetaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We were a group of hikers staying for the weekend. Gillian was an amazing, friendly and a very helpful host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The house was beautiful and spacious, and we felt like at home. What a beautiful and tranquil countryside! There was a fully equipped kitchen and loads of board games and entertainment for the longer evenings. A hot tub was an amazing addition to relax after the day of hiking! We would love to stay there again! Warm Regards, Ineta

Lime cottage

CianRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Stayed in the lime cottage with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day and it was everything we wanted, the cottage was cozy and matched all of the photos for reference. The host Lorraine and Keith were wonderful and very friendly, couldn’t have had nicer people. The surrounding area was breathtaking and it would make you want to pack everything and move lol. The only issue was the hot tub, which was a big deal for us, it wasn’t running at the time we got there, but the next day it was up and going but the wind was too strong so we didn’t bother going for a dip, this had nothing to do with the host but just the weather beat us to it ! All in all I would highly HIGHLY recommend any of the gorgeous cottage that are up for stay as they were worth every penny and I think we’ll be back again relatively soon.

Silverhill House, Miltown Malbay

GrainneRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Matt and Jem's place was a perfect base for a recording project that we worked on during the week. The setting is beautiful and inspiring, and the house is gorgeous, a lovely blend of a cosy cottage feel and modern Scandi-style interior with clever design features. We appreciated that the house is only 6 minutes from Miltown Malbay, but feels like a special retreat, very private and with great views of the countryside and distant sea views, which you can take in from inside the house or outside in the barrel hot tub. Matt and his family are so warm and friendly and lovely to chat with! The recommendations that they've thoughtfully left for restaurants, cafes, pubs, and sights are spot on. We really enjoyed our time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a base in Miltown or Clare more broadly.

4* Country Home-Farm-on-the-Lake

JessicaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our stay at Dorothy's place was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, Dorothy's warmth, humor, and genuine care made us feel right at home. She truly is the most wonderful host you could ever wish for. The house is beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches and plenty of information about the local area. Dorothy was always available to offer invaluable advice on where to eat, explore, and even save money. Her recommendations were spot on and made our trip even more special. The location is perfect, with a stunning lake just a short walk away. Thanks to Dorothy's provided equipment, we enjoyed kayaking and taking in the serene views. The hot tub was another highlight—spacious, impeccably maintained, and absolutely enchanting at night with the fairy lights twinkling around us. Outdoor space's perfect for alfresco dining, and the presence of the donkeys and two friendly dogs added an extra layer of charm to our stay. It truly felt like a slice of haven on earth. 10/10
